Convenient location and the bed and pillows were amazing. The family owners were so helpful and friendly. Felt very safe- well lit. I loved the fact that I could cross the street and walk down to the wetlands and Smith Mansion. The property is beautifully maintained and lots of wildlife and gardens. Also, so close to getting an early morning cup of coffee! Even the guy at 7/11 who'd been on his shift all night was friendly. Thanks for an awesome stay and the best to you all- see you again soon I hope!

Not much really. Possibly a small lamp on the desk so as not to disturb anyone traveling with you if they're still sleeping and you'd like to read.

The communication was great.. they called to ask my check in time. They k ew me when I walked in and we had a nice chat while checking in. The room looked recently remodeled and was very nice. Also having a real freezer on the mini fridge was a great surprise! The room darkening shade was great too.

The mini split unit was a little loud but didn’t wake me up or keep me from sleeping.. just had to turn the tv volume up. Suggestion.. loved the black out shade but consider having it pull down instead of up for light. That was u can get some light w/o being totally exposed with full window open. Or maybe sheer curtains. Would have liked a small coffee maker

Completely remodeled rooms in a quiet location. Bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was immaculately clean. Owner and staff were all incredible and accommodating. Looking forward to our next stay at Blue Beach Motel.

Very clean. The manager was very helpful with check-in and restaurant recommendations. The rooms were stylish and soundproof. It looked very clean and modern. More than enough parking. Wifi was high speed.

The amenities were sparse. The bed only had a thin blanket and sheet. Running the heater dried out the air in the room. The desk was small and there wasn't a stand for the luggage.

This property is a super property for a few nights stay. It was extremely clean. We have been on the road for two weeks ( and three months last summer… all hotels stays), this is by far the cleanest and best value for the area we have found. Be aware, it is a minimalist property. The rooms are large but has limited suitcase/ bag space, no suitcase rack or desk to sit things on.Also we needed directions for the two tv remotes. Our room had no hair dryer, iron or ironing board but an iron and ironing board was available upon request and I’m confident there would have been a hair dryer available if requested. A chair or/ or table would have been appreciated. The property has been completely remodeled. It’s evident the owners are trying very hard to accommodate their guests. The owner and staff are professional and extremely helpful and attentive. Our only issue was the shower curtain rod fell as I was taking a shower. We had to clean up the mess. I advised the owner at checkout. I believe the shower rods should be fixed rods not tension rods. Otherwise good value for the price.

Curtain rod issue and lack of adequate stand or rack for suitcase. But, not a problem to the extent that would prevent a further stay.

This motel while sparse, is brand new, in perfect shape, very clean inside and out. Very nice people run it and it was a good price. Also the eating place on the grounds was excellent. This Motel is a good deal for the price.

There was nothing I did not like. It is new, it could have used a support bar in the shower, and a luggage rack would have been nice. This is a basic motel, no bells and whistles. If you want a great nights sleep as you travel and no more this is the place and the right price.

I booked it through a third party for three days Had made a mistake of where to meet my family and had to change location . The front desk (owner?) was sympathetic to my problem and helped me get out of the contract. I remain very grateful

The beds’ bases are made of metal and made a weird clanking sound when getting in or out. Mattresses were very comfy though and I slept well

The fact that it was recently renovated and a convenient location. It was really super that a great restaurant Gastro pub was a few steps away!! Excellent place to eat!!It was a lot (king bed, TV, mini fridge/microwave, night stand, office desk and chair, small closet with a dozen hangers and separate mirror/vanity and toilet/ shower area separate) area packed in to the room very efficiently!

That there was no coffee either in your room (preferred) or at least available in the mornings at the check in area. Also that there were no tissue boxes in the room.

Good location for us. Some nice food choices nearby. Very clean and nice staff. Bed extremely comfortable. Great night sleep!

Room was too sparse no place to put luggage. Lighting was strange ..had to use the blackout shade on the big window during daytime as there would be no privacy otherwise.
