We had a lovely stay at Antica Fenice. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly — especially the young man at the reception who was attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfasts were good, and the hotel was well-equipped for families. We traveled with our 1.5-year-old baby, and the room had a nice baby bed ready for us, which made things much easier. The location is also very convenient: just a 15-minute direct bus ride to Venice, with the bus stop very close to the hotel. It’s also just 15 minutes by bus to the airport. The hotel has a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our morning coffee — a great way to start the day. Highly recommended for a comfortable and stress-free stay near Venice!

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are very nice, they always try to make the stay very comfortable and adapt quickly to a few languages (italian, english and spanish). Breakfast was nice and the outdoor spaces amazing. They facilitate the bus ticket so you can go around easy. The area doesnt have much but you have a super market at front of the space ( Lidl) and bus stop. Super easy to get to anywhere such venice island, other areas by, train station and more. Facilities all worked, including the AC which was perfect! When I come back, I will definitely book this hotel again

The only tiny thing was that the small fridge doesnt really work or don't have enough power to cool food/drinks. This is still not very important as the rest was really 5 stars service from all. Really appreciate everyone working there and all the lovely chat, recommendations, welcoming and more.

We enjoyed every second of our stay here, thanks to the attentive staff. The property's location just outside central Venice makes it great value for money, while allowing guests to reach both Venice and the airport in only 10 minutes. Special mention to the lovely host Michela who was very attentive and made us feel like home! She kindly accommodated our late check-in and we also received advice about things to see and were able to buy bus tickets from reception. The breakfast was also very good and was served in a lovely outdoor terrace.

The best place we stayed at on this trip of Italy. Michela and her Daughter Beatrice were wonderful hosts. Every detail was perfect. Amazing breakfast. Really good air-conditioning , wifi was fast. Most importantly it was the warmth and welcoming approach of Michela and her daughter. Whenever back in Rome, this will be home. A mention for Jaluka as well, for his service. The Bus was a 8 min ride into central venice. Michela had the tkts for us. Bus stop is 2 minutes from the hotel.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean and stylish. The room was well equiped and comfortable. Great location, only 8 minutes by bus from touristic points. The bus station was just in front of Hotel. Great staff ever, Michela the host was very lovely and helpful providing everything we needed, tips, bus tickets, and even a ride to the restorant we had booked the dinner. They offered free coffee and croissant in the morning even we have booked a room without breakfast option. We felt like home. We highly recommend the stay at Hotel Antica Fenice.

If you're looking for paradise somewhere in Italy, this is clearly the place. Hotel Antica Fenice is a quiet, beautiful oasis with an 18th-century mansion, a fresh garden, a romantic veranda and, most importantly, absolutely incredible staff. I write this review with the most sincere intentions of the endless thanks to the owner of the hotel and her family who, in addition to looking for me all together in the middle of the night when I missed the last bus and found myself 10 km away without knowing Italian and the road back, also provided a room at half the price to me when they knew I was travelling alone, injured and also for work. I thought there were no more people like you. God bless all of you and your work. Hotel Antica Fenice deserves the highest praise in every way!!! Delicious plentiful breakfasts that one wants over and over again, personal tips from the hostess on all the sights, prices, people, and most importantly - everything is genuine, from the heart, with joy. THANK YOU!!!

Great place just 15mins away from Venice centre by bus (which is very frequent). A-M-A-Z-I-N-G patron, Michaela, who helped us throughout our stay with inside information on shopping factory outlets, transportation, Venice hidden gem locations and areas to visit (we would have missed at least 3-4 if it wasn't for Michaela). Special mention to her hospitality and can-do attitude to the point that one day she drove us to the nearest mall in her car (I mean, who does that in 2023!). The room was cosy and the bed/pillows were comfy enough. A touch-up of the rooms at some point would not be a bad idea but for now, they serve their purpose for a 3* hotel. Last but not least, the beautiful garden in frot of the rooms is a plus. We toured in spring so it was in full blossom.

Sound insulation in the property is not existent (this is not an exaggeration). We could hear everything from the toilet flushing to the shower water hitting the drain above (again,no exaggeration). I noticed this in other Italian "coutryside" accommodations (I toured 9 cities) and I guess it is just they way they are built. Walls and flooring (between floors) are paper thin. If you mind noises and/or are a light sleeper, take note.

The hotel is only 10-15 min away from Venice with the bus, the bus station is very close. The place is nice and the room was clean.

The lady who hosted us was lowley annoyed when I asked her some questions about the luggage. Also the shower head was loose and it got off during our stay, we checked out and forgot to tell her. When we returned to take the luggage, she was mad that we didn't tell her, because the new guests apparently complained about it, but shouldn't the person who cleaned the room/bathroom had seen it too? Why didn't they report it? Anyway, everything else was great, only she was not very sympathetic.

Well located hotel only minutes from a regular and cheap (1 Euro 50) bus service to Venice city. Great parking. Rooms clean and well serviced. The hostess is extremely helpful providing services beyond our expectations. The Breakfast is a very good continental breakfast with extras including hot eggs and the like that are often not part o a basic continental breakfast. We particularly liked the outside, but under cover, tables and chairs able to be used for picnic meals. A good pizzeria/ restaurant is about 500m away. The wifi worked well.

This hotel is an excellent choice when visiting Venice and the surrounding area! I would give it 10 stars if I could for the great hospitality provided by all hosts (it is a family owned business) with a very warm and personalized experience. The bed has very comfortable mattress and it is very clean. The breakfast has been delicious with local cakes baked by the owners (I looooved the chocolate salami). The hotel and garden is cozy, private and perfectly located close to the airport but also only 10min by bus to Piazzale Roma in Vanice. Ideal location to avoid the touristy and expensive hotels and have the perfect and relaxing atmosphere for couples, friends, and family. We will definitely come back and recommend Hotel Antica Fenice to everybody looking for a truly local experience in Venice. Thank you Daniela & Michaela for a fantastic time in Venice! :)
