We stayed at TRIP INN JET HOTEL Zürich Airport for an entire week and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable — just a 2-minute walk from both the train and bus station, which made it incredibly easy for us to explore Zurich and take day trips across Switzerland with no stress. The breakfast was great every morning: fresh, well-stocked, and perfect to kickstart a day of travel. Most of all, the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. The hotel was clean, quiet, and convenient — exactly what we needed. We truly had a wonderful time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

I stayed here in order to catch an early intercontinental flight from Zürich Airport without the hassle of getting up in the middle of the night to take the train from my home town. Despite proximity to runways, unusually quiet room. Very substantial breakfast and easy connection to the airport by bus from nearby (300m) train station. Alles ging wie geschmiert!

Clean, neat, spacious room and bathroom and balcony was a bonus! Views are lovely from the hotel and the location is ideal, as located near train/bus stops and didnt find it overly noisy being near the airport! Good options for a quick breakfast, all fresh! Most staff are accommodating and friendly

One of the members of staff came across unpleasant. The pillow offering was soft only, so not a great night's sleep, we were given a second set when requested but also felt hollow/too soft, but this is a preference issue only. No kettle or appliances in the room. We also found the plug sockets weren't suitable for our UK adapters, but this wasn't a huge issue as we made do with the one suitable outlet in the room.

Excellent location, clean, tidy, friendly helpful staff. Didn't use the restaurant/cafe facilities so can't comment but would definitely stay there again.

However....DO NOT USE THE SHUTTLE TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT. I had booked it through the hotel for the 4.37am pickup, however it never turned up. We waited until 5am and fortunately another guest had booked an uber for the airport and let us jump in but the transfer had cost me CHF20. I have contacted the hotel to inform them however they've said the person that deals with this is on annual leave so who knows if it will be reimbursed.....will wait and see. Do yourself a favour and book an uber, its a few francs more but at least they turn up.

Unlike last time the reception had some very grumpy folks.. I saw one of them throwing kitchenware in anger at the staff and the manager was quite upset about the coffee machine being used too. There was an old man who was just moaning every time .. . While I choose to ignore it - it was contrastingly different to my previous stay which was fabulous and Tim and a few others were the reason I went again. I will go a third and final time soon and update // The above doesn’t matter too much but still doesn’t leave a great taste

Next to train station, there a ramp to the street so you can drag your big luggage to the hotel. We came a bit late so we didn’t see any sign to the front door of the hotel (which was the way to lobby but had to pass someone’s garden) so we had to walk down the main street and came up from the parking. (If you came from train station you walk to Breitenstrasse and look for the hotel sign, pass some small garden you’ll be at the lobby door) Lift from garage is woking but you have to put the “down” button to go up to lobby (maybe some sign would help). Very conveniently close to the Rumlang train station and shuttle bus the next morning to the airport. The 510 bus to the airport also stops nearby. Easy, efficient check in and out. Clean basic comfortable room and bed, made more enjoyable by access to tea and coffee, ice and glassware in the breakfast area. Shopping for provisions is not far along the street and the beautifully kept old town across the other side of the railway track is pleasant for an after dinner walk.

Nothing really. A bar fridge and kettle in the room would have been nice.

Third stay with them - good overall. Met the owner who was good. The staff are usually excellent_ Nicky and Tim both are great front desk and helpful guys The cappuccino is surely a good choice + location and easiness to ZRH helps

There is one grumpy manager who can be surely addressed re curtomer service. Everything else can be tolerated but sheer arrogance of one person can leave a very soar taste. This was my second experience with this elderly manager There are no chairs in balcony this time - they had renovation still ..

It is very close to the airport with wonderful down pillows and comforters, rooms are well appointed and clean. I did not give it a 10 because as you drive up its not the best curb appeal there are worn down looking apartments next door and the outside is not very welcoming. When you park there is a digital check in that we messed with for about 10 minutes to no avail. We pushed the help button and were told to come upstairs and check in. It was quite confusing even with Google translate. Once inside it is a lovely hotel with nice decor and comfy rooms after a red eye from California we slept very well. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of choices. We discovered if you walk a couple blocks you are in a very nice area where we had a wonderful dinner.
