Just after making the booking Sarah called to thank us for booking with them and did we know what time we would be arriving. We were just going to take our time on the 3 hr journey and stop off when we wanted. We agreed that we could call her when we were on the ferry and she would be avail. when we arrived. She met us and gave us the grand tour then took our breakfast order. We met the owner Brian in the evening who couldn't do more for us, making calls to see if places were open for food (this was midweek) gave us excellent information on where to visit. It felt as if we had known him for ages and we were made to feel very at home. They were also so kind with our dog, the beach is across the road so the dog was in his element too. We had a ground floor room next to the front door which became our own entrance as the main door is at the side of the car park,

The property was located literally across the road from the beach at Cloughey. As soon as we walked into it there was a real sense of homeliness and relaxation. We initially met Sarah who was an excellent host and very welcoming. We met Brian later on in the evening and he too was very welcoming and an excellent host also. Our room looked directly over the beach which provided a beautiful setting last thing at night and first thing in the morning. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and helped to give us a good night’s sleep on each of the three nights we stayed. Rachel and Tracey served us up a tasty and very satisfying breakfast on the second and third morning of our stay; Sarah did the same honors on our first morning. This is a really good place to stay for a relaxing break down the Ards peninsula.

Absolutely nothing springs to mind. On a minor note an extra hanger for towels would be beneficial in the en suite and a second small waste bin in the main bedroom.

Wonderful! Perfect location, beautiful beach and stunning countryside. Gorgeous accomodation, spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Spa facilities provide a perfect wind down from a busy day sight seeing. Very relaxing garden, lounge and kitchen area to sit and read or just chill out. All the staff are amazing, Brian the owner is incredibly friendly and professional. Rachael and Sarah looked after us all week and nothing was too much trouble. The whole property has a relaxing, calming feel to it as soon as you walk in. My partner and I are planning on returning next year.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Everything about the manse on the beach was perfect. It was very relaxing and Brian was a fantastic host . The manse was full of character and the attention to detail in every room was exceptional. Breakfast was superb we had an early start for our event and did not expect anything. But Brian was very accommodating and had all our breakfast ready for 6.30 am . It was excellent and very much appreciated. Having the beach so close to go for a long walk was also another great benefit . Can’t wait to return 😃

Nothing Everything was perfect.

It felt like a home from home, it was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable, Bryan and his team made everyone welcome and was the perfect host, the staff we spoke to were all friendly and made you feel very welcome. We had the Sunday high tea it was excellent and great value for money

The location was good across from the beach, however you definitely need a car if you want to go anywhere it’s quite remote

Incredible property overlooking the sea with fabulous host Brian who looked after us so well and gave great recommendations for dinner and drinks. The property is beautiful and so lovely to chill at. There’s an extra charge for exclusive use of the hot tub & sauna which is a beautiful extra treat. Breakfast was great and Rachel was an amazing host ensuring we had everything we needed. There’s a lovely living room and outdoor room to have coffee or a glass of wine. I’m not usually one for staying at B&B’s but this place was exceptional! Can’t wait to visit again!

I can’t fault the property. Every last detail was immaculate. If I had to be really picky, it was perhaps a little too warm at night.

Amazing stay. Brian is a brilliant host. The lounge area was great and allowed us to meet other guests. Jacuzzi was fantastic and like everything else, very new and exceptionally clean. Our room was exceptional and from towels to bedding to shower gels etc all genuinely 5-star. Breakfast was perfect.. Best part was waking up to the sound of the sea and the many birds. Myself and my wife used to work in the holiday industry, we travel extensively and know what sets places apart. If we ever run a guest house we would want to create a place very similar to the Manse on the Beach.

Nothing.. massively exceeded our expectations. In all honesty I would have paid much more and still walked away very, very happy.

Absolutely fabulous, very clean good size room, immaculately furnished with attention to detail, loved the communal lounge and conservatory area to the rear and the large well kept garden, breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and delicious. The host Brian was friendly and helpful. Rachel who provided breakfast was funny and lovely. We loved our stay and we will return

I regret we didn’t stay longer to use all the facilities.

Wonderful accommodation strategically located for reaching the main destinations along the coast. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need for a one-night stay or even longer. Clean and cosy rooms, delicious traditional breakfast freshly prepared, very friendly and helpful hosts. I absolutely recommend Manse on the Beach!

A refrigerator in each room could be very useful for travellers.

Great location (we did coastline trip), jacuzzi, and sauna were blissful, swimmable beach across the road, could hear waves even from backyard room 💘 breakfast was tasty and filling, sadly we didn't have time for dinner. Overall, positive atmosphere, calm, comfy, and welcoming! Highly recommend!
