So I booked this for 9 off us for a wedding at orange tree hill in Greyabbey. This was the perfect location, as it was close by and easy to reach to the venue by taxi. The rooms were big and all had on suites. Although the property is a bit rough around the edges, everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was also great. They help you out with iron boards etc when we needed them and have us extra glasses to take to our room.

Some rooms were by the main road which could be a little noisy. Waiting times for food is very long, and service from waiting staff is a bit slow, although it’s delicious when you get it and everybody is friendly.

We stayed here because it was local to Mount Stuart, which was a 10 minute drive away. It is located in a village at the edge of Strangford Lough. It is a restaurant with rooms and we were able to have a lovely meal and stay in the same place. There was a selection of wines, beers and cocktails. For the evening meal there was a great selection of local foods, which were perfectly cooked by Paul. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice for breakfast including a full breakfast or options such as French bread and maple syrup and bacon. The room was a good size and had a walk in shower.

The room was great, it was a good size. The decor was lovely it had beautiful stone work and it was very comfortable. We had access to a beautiful garden. The restaurant was superb amazing food (vegetarian and vegan options available, the nut roast was amazing). It was family friendly, all staff made you feel welcome. It was a fantastic place to stay and dine, I highly recommended.

Great budget room. Stayed after a wedding at orange tree house and just needed somewhere to lay our heads. Room was basic but for the price completely fine. Clean and comfortable with a coffee machine. Breakfast which was included in the great price was really great. Good options with tea and coffee with free refills.

Perhaps a bottle of water in the room as we got in late and didn’t know if the bathroom water was drinkable.

Location to wedding and views of Strangford Lough. Also beautiful private garden.

Disappointed that restaurant was only opened at weekend. When we booked stay it was supposed to be open every day.

Great location and food from the restaurant was fantastic. Had the vegan nut roast and it was delicious full of flavour. Lovely vegetarian breakfast too. Nice comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. My husband had a specific dietary requirement that the chef was able to accommodate. Thank you.

The mix up of trying to get in communication with the owner (who had changed his Wifi provider & didn't know we were coming). We waited 2 hours & tried several ways of getting hold of him.

Central to the town. Enjoyed the breakfast and the friendliness of staff. Easy parking right outside was helpful. Close to shops and bars.

Great location, staff very friendly and room clean and comfortable. Garden looked beautiful it was just a shame as the weather kept us from enjoying it.
