the beds were very comfortable, and the amenities were appreciated. the apartment (although not the one we booked online, which didnt matter) was huge, spacious and had everything we needed. the wraparound corner balcony was huge although the weather wasn't conducive to spending any time on it.

the towels could do with a refresh, a little thin and small. the ensuite shower could have been cleaner and the panel to get into the bath spa in the main bathroom kept falling open every time the door was opened. the option of aircon being on either in the lounge or the bedrooms was not great as it was a hot weekend and we would have preferred to have the whole apartment cool.... there is also plenty of room for a king bed in the master bedroom - something to consider.....

A wonderful stay from start to finish. The accommodation was spotless and spacious with everything you would need if you wanted to self cater. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in the wardrobes. It was great having 2 bathrooms too. The ocean view from the rooms and balcony was beautiful and you can hear the waves on the beach at night lulling you off to sleep. Close driving distance from plenty of great cafes and restaurants, and walking distance to a beachside cafe with great food. A good size pool in the complex plus a well equipped gym.

The views and amenities were expansive, the ocean, the river, the township, there was a gym, outdoor showers and bathroom close to the pool and gym. 2 carparks that I didn’t have to pay extra for, amazing 🤩. The apartment was large and was equiped with everything you needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom and ensuite had huge showers and were large in space. There were games to play, books to read and the balconies were huge, great place to watch the whales 🐳 jumping and playing at sea. Highly recommend staying here.

Unfortunately it rained a few times we were there and the only thing that bugged me about that was there was no undercover to walk from the road to the reception or your building and you get wet. Obviously if you’re in your car it’s fine because there are lifts in the underground car park straight to your floor.

This property was just out of the town centre but very easy to get into the town by car for food and shopping. It was quiet and reasonably well equipped. It was roomy enough for the 4 of us and had some nice, private outdoor space. The beds were comfortable, and the property was clean and well maintained. It was quite secure.

Lots of steps to get down from the street to reception but once you are checked in you have easy access to your room (via a lift) and to the carpark under the building. Only one park for the room but there was street parking.

Amazing location, walk to beaches, very quiet, great pool

The bed is tiny - some sort of very short double (apartment 3) which was not great for a tall partner and myself. Also disappointed there was no way to make a nice coffee - even a plunger would suffice for a lazy wake up coffee on the lovely balcony. Would have also appreciated a few basics like oil, salt, pepper, glad wrap for food etc. Little things but most places I stay at would supply.

Location was great, gas range was easy to use, the view was nice, (coffee maker was compatible with Expressi pods) The beds were ALL super comfy--even the singles were ultra-plush. (If your kids like a soft bed, they'll never want to leave this place.) Capiche restaurant--easily a gourmet Italian food experience--is within easy walking distance, although it is down hill a bit.

Both bathrooms were bothersome, in that the showers made a wet mess of the floors. (This is a common problem we have found in Australia, so it might not be as problematic to some.)

Where do I start? Firstly, the location was fabulous. Not close enough to walk to town (not for us anyway) but fantastic for gazing out at the beach and ocean, and to our absolute delight the migrating whales - so hard to pull myself away from the windows and balcony in case I missed a breach! Only a short drive to the town centre and pubs. Our apartment was really awesome. Ocean views from both aspects, very well laid out, super spacious and everything that we could possibly want. Bedrooms spacious, beds a bit firm but didn't upset my upsettable back, spa bath in main bathroom and the super comfy lounge for relaxing was a bonus. Our separate entry was a nice surprise and we got a free parking space too. Highly recommend Grandview to anyone travelling to the Northern Rivers as an excellent base for exploring the stunning region. Beaches, mountains, waterfalls, oh I could just go on and on. Excellent service and welcome from the gentleman at the front desk on arrival as well.

Very roomy unit that was fully equipped. I loved cooking on the gas stove. The TV was a decent size as was the fridge which was full sized. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and spacious. We were on the ground floor and had a beautiful courtyard with an outdoor table, chairs and lounge. There was a cafe at the end of the street, right on the beachfront and the historic Lighthouse a 100 metres down the road. Only 10 minutes drive from the centre of town.

We checked into Unit 502, and the view was just awesome. The living room opened into the ocean view, and although the property is about 350m away from the beach, we never felt like going down to the beach because of the great views of the apartment. Beautiful sun rise views from the balcony. Location of the apartments was easy to find, as there were signages. The unit was extremely clean, decorated tastefully and well maintained,

The sun is pretty strong in the morning, and as the apartment is east facing, it does heat up. We used to normally have the blinds and curtains rolled down during early morning, and enjoyed the sun rise from the balcony.

Perfect location with lovely Shelly Beach View. Staff are exceptional as complex is fastidious and all staff friendly and helpful. The assigned car park in basement was a big plus. Laundry in cupboard great. Unit large and all rooms spacious. Bathrooms excellent and comfortable beds and good furnishings. Lounge/ Dining perfect. Kitchen User friendly. Loved terrace and view. Would return happily to Grandview.
