Great location, super close and easy to get to town/WCU. The pool was nice and comfortable, a little older but well maintained. Beds and pillows were super comfortable and the room as a whole was spotless. All the staff was super friendly and helpful too. Unlimited free coffee in the lobby. Super dog friendly, and they have a small patch of grass to walk your dog that has bags and disposal for waste.

The breakfast was hit or miss. They need more than one waffle maker to accommodate the crowds. Biscuit and gravy days we learned to skip because the gravy was like wallpaper paste. Day 1 the cereal was stale, and there was no cream cheese for the bagels. Day 2 the eggs were perfect but there was no milk and the oj machine was messed up. Day three we skipped bc gravy meant there was a very long wait for the waffles.

Need towel racks in bathroom? Need clean room we were there only 4 nights but never had bed made or clean towels unless I saw a wagon in hallway and picked up myself! The front desk was very polite! I am a travel agent and have been in several hotels so I kinda know what is expected! Need a bar in bath to help people in and out!

The breakfast was good, had to ask them to replace some items but it was good. The parking was a little tight, but ok. The property was clean and well maintained. The rooms were clean, the beds slept amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

No back entrance from the parking lot. It's hard for someone with a disability to walk that long distance around to the front door.

The motel was located in a fairly convenient location. It was surprisingly quiet, since there were a lot of dogs here. The water pressure in shower was great, comfortable beds, seemed very clean.

The boy that was there at check in was rude, not friendly at all, but later was replaced with a very polite, friendly girl. We were put next to the exit door so by 7 am it was very noisy because the door slams shut!! The bed light didn't work, and the remote was messed up.

The breakfast was very good, everything was presented professionally and very clean and well managed. From the front desk to the management, made sure I was comfortable and that I had all that I needed. The housekeeping as well. I truly appreciated all their efforts.

Second shift motel attendant ,I could not understand what he says also was lost going there called for directions they didn't know how to tell me to get there, I was 3 mi away!Floor was dirty,(pet room). On Also check out my bill was messed up they had charged me for an extra room and a pet fee I don't pay pet fees for service animal my credit card is all messed up I won't be using booking.com again

The view was breathtaking, it was very clean and comfortable and the staff warm and friendly. It was convenient to Cherokee tourism and just a beautiful place for gorgeous mountain views!

The gymn and pool were nice and clean. The breakfast was more continental and brand of coffee wasn't good. But the toasted bagel with cream cheese & butter with hot chocolate was perfect alternative.

The location is close to Western Carolina University. It is right off of the highway. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a nice selection of channels.

We needed to iron our clothes and the room did not have an ironing board. In addition, the shampoo dispenser didn't have any shampoo in it.

Stan and labita were great. Stefan has been good too. Has been really great and comfortable place to stay. The shower pressure is great.

The bathroom is kind of small.

I‘ve stayed at almost every hotel in the area over the last 4 years while visiting my son, a student at Western Carolina University. This hotel really exceeded my expectations. While properties closer to the university or in downtown Sylva were either ridiculously expensive or just plain run down, most of the nicer and more reasonably priced options were one or even two exits south of Sylva. This hotel is RIGHT off US-74 just outside Sylva, so quite close to access both the campus in Cullowhee AND good food options in Sylva. It’s also extremely easy to find, very quiet, comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Just a terrific experience all around. It took trying out a ton of hotels, but this one‘s a keeper!
