The staff were very kind and helpful, especially Semah at the front desk during daytime shifts. The cleaning staff were always very efficient and fast, and the guys at the door were always looking out for me - Thanks everyone! Breakfasts were brilliant: whatever you want, sweet or savory, and some excellent Tunisian touches - superb coffee.

Only one thing: it would have been nice if the restaurant had been open for dinner as well, but I understand it was slow season.

- Location: The hotel is located right in the middle of Habib Bourguiba Avenue and is therefore easily accessible from the airport. The area feels very safe and there are a couple of decent restaurants in the vicinity. Medina can be reached on foot in approximately ten minutes. - Overall convenience: The room was brand new and tasteful. The bathroom in particular was spacious and exceptionally clean. - Breakfast: We were particularly impressed by the breakfast served! Huge variety of savoury and sweet options, European and Tunisian ones. The space where breakfast takes places, was also quite pleasant.

The view from our room was a rather shabby little street behind the hotel but the overall experience during our staying was so positive, that it didn't matter to us at all.

1)- I arrived at 11:45am i just want to relex 5 hours then i have another plane but they not want to give me room till check-in time 2pm ( i take rest 3h only ). 2)- They give me a room with a bad view (I see parking).

Excellent location on the main avenue and only a few minutes from the medina. The room was surprisingly quiet despite it facing the road. A good selection of breakfast items. The terrace cafe had good food and was reasonably priced. My ham and cheese sandwich came with chips and a salad and was enormous and not expensive. The lady who cleaned my room each day was friendly and kind. The best member of staff I encountered in the hotel.

The wifi is appalling, and the management clearly doesnt care as reviewers have complained about it for years. The bed is hard and creaks when you move. The bottom sheet is too small for it, so it's constantly wrinkling under you at night.

Had a side view that gave to a very close ugly building, the lack of light curtains forced me to close the heavy curtains all the time I was in the room which made it dark and depressing.

It was a nice pleasant hotel good location central tunis very nice breakfast in the morning plenty of options. Nice clean room and bathroom plenty of towels and and complementary shower gel and shampoo. And nice bath robes to wear after your shower. And smart tv to use with plenty of channels to watch in various languages.

My bank card had been charged for my stay on the 04/01/23 when stated on booking.com website states I would pay for my stay at the hotel. And my stay was on the 20/01/23. Not good when they require your bank card state you won’t be charged and charge you for you stay before you even arrive. When I went to reception to book a taxi to the airport the next morning and I went to the reception that morning and they weren’t aware there was a taxi booked for my room. And I had to enquire if my taxi had arrived and receptionist all but went missing and I had to ask the security at the main door had my taxi arrived.

Location was key. The room was clean and comfortable. Chafika was very kind and helpful when I asked for anything. All staff were amazing and kind. Imed was very helpful and gave really good suggestions for places to visit and eat. He organised the taxi transfer to the airport. There is no departure tax for UK ( thanks Imed). We asked for an iron on arrival and was given it within 5 minutes. Very hospitable and helpful staff.

Reception Staff very helpful. Location very good and closed the shopping and lifetime. Security staff very support and helpful. We asking for rent car from the reception and they support us in this request and all our stay in this hotel move smooth and there is parking behind the hotel just 2$ for day and security take care of it. Breakfast very good

Room small. Cooking smiling in the second floor could be closed the restaurant in the first floor. If you open the window, you will face problem from the mosquito.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Carlton Hotel in Tunis and found it to be an excellent choice. The hotel's location is ideal, providing easy access to local attractions. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly. The breakfast offered a diverse selection, catering to various tastes, which added to the positive experience. I would like to extend special thanks to Fatoma, the housekeeping staff member, who went above and beyond. She provided a valuable recommendation to visit Bizerte City, which I unfortunately couldn't take advantage of this time due to my pre-booked stay in Sousse. However, I look forward to exploring Bizerte on my next visit to Tunisia. Overall, I highly recommend the Carlton Hotel for its excellent service and convenient location.

I only stayed my final night in Tunis. I wish I’d stayed here longer. Room was comfortable with bathrobe and generous sized bathroom. The breakfast was a large buffet selection with extended 6-10am hours and plenty of variety. The floor was clean and presented well as did the lobby. The location is bang in the middle of the Avenue, so everything is close by. Nice outdoor seating on the Avenue for coffee/mint tea in the evening. Hotel helped me get a car to Enfidha airport when I was stuck after being informed local taxis cannot cross the Tunis boundary.

TV had limited channels and view from bedroom was nothing special.
