The Voya soap/shower gel/shampoos smelled amazing, the shower itself was perfect I didn't eat in the hotel but the aroma of proper food/carvery was to die for The staff were very friendly

no air con, my room was incredibly warm on arrival, had to turn off the radiators in both the bedroom and bathroom and open windows, which only opened slightly. It still wasn't enough to cool the room down to a normal temperature before bed There was supposed to be a desk in my room as per pictures, but i had to use what i can only describe as the makeup area with my laptop with a mirror in front of me, which was a bit strange. The chair supplied wasn't tall enough to sit comfortably at this area

Went for wedding nearby. Had asked for esly check in if possible and they had the room ready when we got there. Friendly staff. Really comfortable beds. Good location. Lovely coffee shop in reception area.

Shower in the room was disappointing just one jet of water. Would like more options at breakfast especially since ours wasn't included in room rate which we hadn't realised til we were there. Service at breakfast slow with basic things like milk, salt and pepper missing from table though staff very helpful when asked for them.

The hotel is lovely, very well located and plenty of parking! The food was lovely. My partner is gluten intolerant and there were so many options for him! The leisure facilities are brilliant but the staff made the stay 10 times better! They were so friendly and accommodating!! I honestly cannot recommend them enough. I would definitely stay here again just because of the staff!!

The bed was slightly too hard for us and we couldn’t get booked into the spa for a treatment but that was mostly our fault for leaving it too late to book

Grand hotel with a lot of facilities and very large rooms. The reception/foyer is massive with lots of room to sit and relax or even get on with some work with the cafe being an added bonus. The staff were wonderful, super friendly and very high level of service. The bar and eatery does great food, high quality cooking at decent prices. Breakfast was simple but very nice, great coffee and good quality food.

Service in the restaurant/eatery could have been a bit more efficient as it did take a while after being seated for the staff to take our orders. The rooms could do with a little modernising and would be good for the heating to be controlled in the rooms, as we only had radiators which turn off after a specific time from what we experienced.

i just wanted to thank you all for my stay recently. it was my brothers funeral monday. 3 of us stayed in room 102 on sunday and monday. we had a meal after my brothers funeral at the hotel too. compliments to the chef sean and his team. everything from arrival to a genuine thank you on depature was first class. all staff showed my family and friends such kindness and respect throughout. i work in a hotel here in oxford and as you do (even in sad times) tend to watch whats going on. one person stood out and that was ginta the manager. her calmness her attention to detail her kindness was second to none. thank you from our hearts ginta. i was trying to find brian the general managers email to send him this so im hoping this will get to him. he should be (im sure he is) beyond proud of all his amazing team thanks so much again sean tooher

Staff were friendly and very helpful

On leaving at 3.30am there was no one on reception despite asking the day before regarding checking out, we were told to leave the room key in a basket - there was no basket. No instructions on how to exit the building so resorted to phoning the hotel number to get the Porter Joe who came to let us out. Maybe the process could be explained at check in so people know especially if you have to leave early morning before the main doors are open

Everything was great. It just seemed a little expensive for stay. Staff were friendly. Very clean and plenty of towels.

We used the pool and we weren’t aware that we had to take towels from our room or pay €2. It would be useful to know this at check in. Once we’re there it’s very hard to go back. I bought some jewellery in the hotel and I know it’s not related but perhaps putting a sign somewhere that’s cash is needed to buy the items or even the staff sharing this information when showing the items. I then had to go around Nenagh looking for an atm. Otherwise all was good. It really about communication and sharing information in advance. That would make it so much better 🙌

The room was clean. It did look so bland, no colour at all.We thoroughly enjoyed the food, both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We also enjoyed the concert in the ballroom, a great idea.

Nothing in the room showed we were in Nenagh. Photos of the stunning Tipperary landscape would brighten the rooms up beautifully. The woodwork in the rooms need to be painted. I would have appreciated more coffee and some biscuits with the facilities in the room.

The Room was clean and comfortable and spacious with outside views towards the front of the hotel. There was a safe and ample amount of wardrobe space. The bathroom was large with an excellent shower. The bed was comfortable and a good nights sleep was easily achieved. The breakfast at the Abbey was excellent the choice and quality of the breakfast was superb The staff were friendly and very helpful. The meals in the Abbots pub were again superb and good value for money. The coffee shop in the reception area was very good with a good choice of light bites and coffee.

nothing just superb

Our room was great. Lots of space and a king size bed. The bathroom was large and spacious and had a bath. It was great to have a cafe and pub downstairs.

It’s a beautiful hotel but is getting a bit old and in need of some updates. Our cold tap in the vanity could not be turned at all. We were a bit disappointed with our meals in the pub, but all staff were very friendly.
