The rooms were beautiful and clean, parking was perfect and the instructions provided to get there were brilliant. The bed was comfy, and the sauna and hot tub bath were a great touch. Breakfast was delicious. My only critique - there were no glasses of any kind. We want to have a glass of wine in the hot tub, but not even a water glass for the room was provided. I appreciate with the hot tub this may have been plastic, but a drinking vessel for the room would have been welcome. Instructions for where to go for breakfast were a bit lacking and not particularly obvious, but we got there in the end, thanks to how responsive Alberto was whenever I messaged him Overall, it was a really lovely stay in a good location with a beautiful room and friendly stay. I would recommend.

We were very pleased, this is a lovely B&B. The rooms face the courtyard, so you can hardly hear anything from the main road. The host was very friendly, courteous and attentive. Our room, with air conditioning and jacuzzi, as well as the whole house, were very clean and well maintained. A large fridge on the ground floor offers all guests a separate cooling compartment, already filled with drinks and can be filled further - an absolute Bravissimo ! 10 stars + It's a 10-minute walk to the old town walls, also ideal by bike, park your car in the courtyard and enjoy Lucca! A walk along and of top the city walls of Lucca is simply a must 😊 - A few hundred metres further ahead on the main road, there are shops and a small pizzeria, very simple, but simply good and tasty - pure Italia - sapore d' Italianità 😊 This wonderful B&B and the host are always a pleasure to return to - a 10 is not really enough as a rating – just a pleasant journey to make 😊

This is a beautiful renovated bnb . We had a family room and also a double room as there were 6 of us. The family room is gorgeous with a bedroom for the two kids and a bedroom for us. There is a tv in both room and there is also a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was beautiful and so fresh. With cereal, fruit , yoghurt and fantastic fresh pastries. The 2 hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and answered every single question we had . They did everything they possibly could to make our 2 night stay perfect .

The outside courtyard is currently being worked on and will be lovely when it’s finished and a bit more enclosed to block out other houses around etc. The road access to the bnb is a busy road but nothing too concerning .

We had a great stay in Il Tiglio! The room was nice and super clean, and the place is less than 10 min from the center of Lucca. We were there during a heatwave and the AC worked perfectly, we didn’t feel the heat at all when we were there! The breakfast was delicious, it is served every morning with fresh coffee and fresh food! All the staff is extremely nice and friendly, and very helpful if you need anything! Thanks a lot!

On the day of travel Alberto messaged me to explain how to get to the property. This included a video of how to drive there as well as handy tips of sign posting the property. Breakfast in the morning was always displayed with a smile and a welcoming hello from staff and other guests. For us, we wanted to keep a few snacks and drinks cold so having access to a lockable fridge in the kitchen/dining area downstairs was a massive plus for us. The terraced area outside is away from the main road so was enjoyable in the afternoon to have a few drinks and bask in the sun.

The owners of the accommodation were super friendly. Everything was arranged perfectly. The rooms were exactly as shown in the photo and clean. We liked that there was a parking space for guests. In a busy city like Lucca this can be very useful. The location is good, a 15-minute walk will take you to the center of Lucca or the train station. We can definitely recommend this B&B. Alberto and the staff are a delight & very welcoming. The location is good to either take a bus to the centre otherwise a gentle 10-15 minute walk. For breakfast a good spread is provided so you should be able to find something to your taste. Access to a lockable fridge in the kitchen/dining area downstairs was a bonus

If I was being picky, the shower cubicle might benefit from a deeper clean & also somewhere for guests to put shower gel, shampoo etc.

Very well maintained property, we really enjoyed the sauna as well as the jacuzzi. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly and chatty :) The property is about 10 minutes away from the city walls.

The only downside is that there is no actual sidewalk to get to the property, so if you don’t have a car be prepared to walk on the side of the road like true locals!

The B&B was located a 15 Minutes walk from the old town Lucca. Check in was super easy even though our plane arrived late in the evening. We received instruction for the self check in before Hand. Parking Spots were available, the room was super clean, the breakfast was amazing and Alberto and his Team was more than friendly and helpful. I can truely recommend the b&b
