Comfortable, clean.

I told the staff on our first day our TV didn’t work… I had to go to the office to get new batteries for the remote (wrong ones) - made another trip for different batteries- (still wrong) - made another trip to office. Finally on the last day the person in the office checked on it … he said a piece was missing… borrowed it from the room next door. Finally fixed… our room was on the other side of the complex upstairs. On our last day someone tried entering our room… I went to the door and a couple was given our room… I’m glad we were there!

They recently reopened the rooms after renovations, and everything is done perfectly. The rooms are spacious with adjustable lighting to fit any mood. There’s a large TV with plenty of channels, comfy big beds. The room also has a microwave, a fridge, and a mirror with special lighting, which is perfect for doing makeup. There’s a handy desk for working on a laptop. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located near a bar, a good Mexican restaurant, a grocery store, and more, all within walking distance.

The price point was a great value. The room service was excellent. Beds made and fresh towels every day.

We have stayed at this location 3 times previous. The service was great, although the place looks run down from the exterior, and the pool area is an eye sore. It appears as though renovations are being done. That said, we stayed in room 104 this time, and the carpet was very stained and worn. The carpet is long overdue for replacement.

The hotel was recently renovated, so the room inside is brand new, including the bed, bathroom, floor, and walls. Everything was clean, and the staff was friendly. There is plenty of parking both near the office and the rooms.

They didn't change or fix the entry door, and it is not soundproof, so I heard noise and car engines in the morning.

The staff was very friendly but specifically a man named Mark he was so conversational and friendly and made check in easy and also he checked on us occasionally while we were outside out room he was lovely, we also requested a downstairs room a week in advanced and they were able to accommodate us..the beds were very comfortable, our room was very clean and spacious! and it was near alot of shopping and for the price it was well worth it I will definitely stay here again in the future

They didnt have any tissue boxes, and the parking was tight

the owner was very warm and friendly. Staff over the counter was ok, just doing his job as he needs to. Owner gave me a room upgrade, which was nice! However, the room did not have basics like coffee/tea and boiling kettle. But it has fridge and microwave etc though which was handy as well :)

My king size bed was very comfortable with crisp white sheets and light bedspread. I slept like a baby. The air conditioner was very quiet and kept the temperature of the room just like I enjoy.

The shower was up high and I am short and heavy set so it was difficult to get into. Once in it, I used extreme caution not to slip and fall. There was not one other thing I could find fault with.

Back in 2017 they still served brekkie and the pool was great. It was still a super 8 back then. Admittedly I haven’t stayed there in the past 5 years. It looks exactly the same though. The pub was really cool and a nice place to meet some locals. Newport beach is a 15 min drive away and worth watching the nightly sunsets at the pier.

I’ve been told no more brekkies….. No pool….. The wifi was kinda patchy at best. It’s kind of a pity. I have very fond memories of this place. The hot tub used to be a lively place to wind down and socialise.

I love that 7-Eleven is just a hop skip and a jump from the establishment. I like the bathroom, well the shower the best! It's such an awesome walk-in shower. So roomy and I really love how the bathroom (including the shower) was all tile. I really appreciate how friendly the housekeeping staff is too!

I'm not one to complain but the bed caused me some serious back pain . The bed is too soft. But me having a bad back doesn't help either. The only other compliant I have is the ant problem. There's ants in the bathroom constantly. Occasionally in the closet too.

They are renovating and I stayed in one of the renovated rooms. It was so spacious, very clean, it had all the accommodations I needed and the staff was super friendly. Beds comfortable, touch screen vanity mirrors .separate vanity. Great showers. I will definitely be staying here again in the future. When they are finished with all renovations this place will be amazing .
