Location was walking distance to the South Coast Plaza, so it was great for shopping and eating, especially for our family, returning home to California for a short trip (family wedding) after living in Asia for so long. The beds were super comfy, but it seems like all beds at Westin hotels are. It's not always the case even at more expensive places.

Parking costs too much (so we just did Valet Parking which was just a bit more than self parking).

This was the second time staying at the Westin and it was so amazing, we had a beautiful view of the Christmas tree from our bedroom window.

The room we stayed in made a slight noise with the air conditioning turning on and off, the room had a tub and not just the shower as I thought I was booking as per the photos on the sight. Overall, those things were of course not enough to make my stay less than a 10.

Location was superb. It was overall a very nice property.

The property could not locate my reservation, had me listed under my middle name as my first name, put me on the end of the hallway by a staircase (when I asked to be away from the staircase). Front desk staff discuss their personal business as soon as you walk away, in earshot… There’s no music or ambience.

The property was close to everything and walking distance to the mall and food places . The hotel was very quiet and not hectic. The staff was really nice and accommodating .

In our room there was stains on the new towels and robe. I would just say quality control the towels before folding them and stocking up the rooms. Otherwise that the rooms were very clean .

Outstanding property. Outstanding Bell and valet staff. Every bit the Westin high quality bedding experience. However, front desk is consistently average at best and most frequently terrible. I have stayed here 6 or 7 times the past 2 years. I come back for the quality of the bed and sleep experience. Absolutly first rate sleeping experience and valet is as good as it gets. However, front desk is consistently terrible. 10-12 minute check-in with no one else checking in. Being completely ignored at check-In. Obvious training front desk people without supervisors around. Great 4-star experience aside from consistently bad front desk.

general lighting of the room was not enoug , few drawers to storage cloths , wi-fi was difficult to connect and sometimes not working well

The location is great, close to South Coast Plaza and our window looked right down into the music and theater arts complex with Segerstrom Hall, within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. It was very quiet and restful.

The location was easy to get to and the staff was friendly and attentive. The property was light and clean and the room was a nice size with a great bathroom.

There weren’t a lot of food options available on site and the Starbucks was closed the morning when we came by to get breakfast.

The Westin in OC is our fave getaway from beautiful San Diego. It's easy to get to, there's so much to do in the area, and there's a lot of great places to eat nearby! The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable.

We're here 2-3 times a year, and the windows have been dirty the past couple of years. When are you going to get them cleaned?
