The facility was modern, well-appointed, and clean. The swimming pool was well maintained and very clean with no smell of chlorine. Denis was helpful in getting reservations and transportation.

Without a car, the walk up the hill was long and very hot. By the time we got back from the beach, we were so hot, it felt like we needed another swim. The taxi service was convenient but expensive, especially for the few kilometers from the beach to the villa.

Denis the host was so very helpful and always had a good and quick response to everything. We liked it so much that we prolonged our stay! At Villa Medak the room was very clean and nice.. It’s all new and the poolside area is very good. The place has a good gym. It’s a bit of a ride to the city center but it was worth it and Denis the host helped us to rent a Scooter. We would 100% stay there again! Thank you for everything, hope to see you again! :D

Everything was great!

Starting with amazing host Dennis, our stay was all we were expecting and more! The rooms are new, modern, very clean and comfortable. Everything is well soundproofed, so we even slept through a huge storm like babies! Beds are comfortable, tarraces are big, kitchenette is well equipped and the pool (incl. gym) is truly wonderful! I will highly recommend to everyone!

Very nice and clean apartments, nice pool which was never crowded. The staff, Denis, is very friendly, he was always available for help and gave a lot of good recommendations for restaurants, beaches and tours in the area.

The only minus is that the apartments are located up a hill, so it is steep if you have to walk up to the apartments. For us, however, it was not a minus because we had a car and therefore drove when we were going somewhere. Even though the apartments are located high up, there was an enormously beautiful view from the apartment over the sea.

Had a beautiful view of the water as so high up. There is a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle etc for you to make breakfast and sit on the balcony and take in the view. The host Denis even if he wasn’t onsite was always available via What’s Ap or email and you could message him for help with local attractions etc. There is a lovely pool for use as well. Parking in Croatia can be challenging but plenty of parking out front and free.

Walking up 3 flights of stairs but this was my choice as I wanted the best view and it was worth it. Really nothing to dislike.

The best thinking about our whole experience at Villa Medak was just how friendly and helpful Denis was. Nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond to make our trip a dream. He sorted out a tuk tour of the Sky Walk which was run by his brother who also was extremely helpful and our tour guide Tino really brought added to the overall experience. Every little detail was thought and you can tell that they are a really nice family who want their guests to experience the best possible time in Makarska. Looking forward to returning another time and I have no doubt that the best experience will be just as memorable. Thanks again Denis Charles

Nothing bad to say

Great views from the balcony, spacious apartment, great little pool, very clean and comfortable.

The location, from the sea front back to the apartment a very steep hill. We had to use the car which we didn’t really want to do especially if you want a drink in the evening, also no nice heels to wear just trainers.

Villa Medak is a great place for a vacation in Makarska. Everything was clean, from the pool to the room. Denis was helpful the whole time we were there and gave us fantastic restaurant tips. A great place to relax & enjoy summer vacation! I recommend 10/10

Beautiful view of the sea and makarska town, pool was really nice, the room was modern and clean! We could also see the mountains behind the hotel from our balcony which was great! Also the host, Denis, was so friendly and helpful with everything!

It is located quite high up on the hills so a car is truly needed for this hotel. Maybe a little bit thicker duvets would be great. Other than that, there is really nothing to complain about!

We loved every minute of our stay at Villa Medak, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, the pool and the views were absolutely amazing. Dennis was so welcoming and helpful, we enjoyed our stay so much that we returned the following week whilst on our travels around Croatia, thank you for the most amazing stay in Makarska, it was our favourite place we visited.
