The Belleview Inn is in a historic building in Belleair / Clearwater. The staff was outstanding, meeting all expectations for this type of property. It was nicely appointed, the room was in perfect condition, and I was upgraded to a lovely corner room with a pool view. The property sits adjacent to the Belleair Country Club, the oldest in Florida if I recall. The hotel leaves a lovely basket of baked goods and juice in front of each door in the AM. The coffee shop downstairs has a nice selection of grab-go breakfast fare, souvenirs, books, and collectibles. It is perfect for a Tampa "stay-cation" and convenient for an overnight should one need to be in Clearwater / Belleair for an event where staying the night is more convenient than the 45+ ride back to Tampa. I highly recommend the Belleview Inn.

I cannot think of anything that jumped out at me. I noticed that there was no attendant at the front desk when I departed, so I left after waiting for a few minutes. All in all, not a big issue.

Clean clean clean!!!!. Pool and hot tub beautiful. Our room was spotless. Not crowded. The maid came to the room daily and she was super nice and accomadationg. She would leave extra coffee if asked. The view in my room was gorgeous. Walked the property to the bay and saw the birds and the gorgeous sunset. The pool is much bigger than the picture.

The hotel is a historical gem. Everything that should be preserved. The staff - especially Lisa - were amazing. They couldn’t do enough but were clearly struggling with the limitations of the facilities. We could buy wine at the in hotel shop - but not quite the same.

No bar, no restaurant and a packed breakfast. People eating brought in takeaways in the hotel areas. It seems such a shame. The facilities at the club are available but close early and quite daunting for none golfers. The rooms are smaller than expected for the price. A junior suite was really small and we had to use the sofas to open our cases.

The hotel is old but very well maintained. The surrounding around hotel is beautiful, peaceful, clean and very quiet. The pool is big and clean.

I found a little lizard in my tub. We were 2 adults and 2 children in a family room and there is only one set of shampoo, for one person. I asked the guy in front desk for some other shampoo and he gave me only one shampoo. I told him we are 4 persons in room, what can we do with these and he gave me other 2 shampoos. That’s all! So, 4 persons with 1 body wash, 1 conditioner, 1 body lotion and 3 hair shampoo. Than I have to call front desk for towels as there was no towels in our room.

The facility was beautiful and everyone was so nice. The breakfast basket delivered to your door with the continental basket was lovely and Instagram worthy. The chairs on the 2 huge porches were comfy and open to all. There was a piano player one evening with snacks.

That the coffee machine in Maisie's (their on site) little cafe was broken and I was unable to get a latte without leaving the hotel.

The house and overall property is beautiful and retains its glory of a different era. The rooms are modern, elegant, well thought out spacious. The pool is great. It’s a super quiet property which we enjoyed. The staff were helpful. The coffee shop was great for snacks and you could pop over to the Country Club for meals as needed. Great location.

The ‘business center’ was a workstation and printer in the corner of the lobby, though it worked because it is a quiet property. The chlorine level was too high in the hot tub and ruined my swimsuit. This was a mistake of the pool/groundsmen, however the Front Desk were very attentive and helpful. No complaints.

Beautiful facility.....loved the Pasta Dinner on Wednesday evening!!!!....great staff!!!!.....well informed staff regarding the history of the hotel....loved it!....we'll be back!!!!!!

Only had (1) real problem.....Room 212 bathroom door does not close.....striker plate needs to be moved for it to be able to closed for privacy!....I've been in the construction business for many years....You might want to add a small microwave in each room....also check your mini fridge in that room.....a lot of heat !....could become a fire hazard!....just a thought Bob Rove and Lynne Moreira

Very clean and quiet. No loud music, crowds, kids. Property is immaculate, such a lovely setting! The picnic baskets in the morning are the sweetest touch.

The beds are not super comfortable and the pillows are terrible. Would be nice to have a microwave in the room.

stunning property and excellent room. Hotel and golf course steeped in history as Floridas oldest golf course. we were travelling around Florida and so happy we came across this. I would recommend when you book to reserve dinner at the country club house restaurant which is a 2 min walk opposite the hotel within the grounds as that can be busy and if no availability you need to leave the grounds to find a restaurant outside. there did seem a good choice of local restaurants but it was nicer to eat at the clubhouse and menu can be found online. highly recommended

Honestly for a resort of this standard I expected a bigger pool. However
