This is the second time we've stayed at this great value downtown Houston hotel. The apartments are the upper floors of a Club Quarters hotel. Apartment was well stocked with kitchen dishes, pans, etc. and had a microwave/oven combo. Very clean and modern with super comfortable bed and couch. Like all Club Quarters, there was a sitting area downstairs with 24 hr coffee (including Lattes), tea, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff both behind the desk and walking around managers making sure we were happy. Ten minute walk from the convention center but there is a light rail right outside the door. Finally, having a 24 hour front desk and hotel like service and safety but still having a 2 room apartment is the best of all worlds for a multi-day stay.

The building itself is older so there was an incomplete flushing issue the second day, however when we called there was a maintenance man there immediately who fixed everything. There isn't decaf tea in the downstairs sitting--horrors :) This place is great.

Staff, room layout, cleanliness

Loved that there is a restaurant on the premises and the food is really good! The rooms are incredible and overall the staff was great. There two interactions with mid staff but the rest of the staff that interacted with were 15 out of 10! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The valet service was top tier- no long waits for your car and the price was reasonable.

The bathroom had long stringy black hair in the tub and on the shower walls and the floor and the tub was not properly cleaned.

Felt homey and was in a great location, nicely decorated. It was relatively quiet, even though the property was in downtown.

The alarm for the dishwasher was going off when I arrived and I couldnt figure out where it was coming from so they had to send maintenance. Also the snacks had been opened for 2 of the items at the in room bar. One of the only 2 elevators was also broken and elevators are very slow. Its also confusing to find it as it only has a little sign above the other hotel in the same building.

Very spacious , clean and smelt clean and fresh , staff were exceptionally friendly and couldn’t do enough for you especially Nelli on reception and Bennonam gave us lots of local info , bar was ok and food was quite good… free coffee machine in reception area was a great touch … we had a problem our toilet flooded as the lever got stuck they dealt with this problem promptly and with ease …bed and pillows very comfy lounge area was comfortable and spacious with very nice decor

Bar area was ok , not very inviting

It gives you a high upscale stay feeling. Staff was super nice, welcoming and helpful! The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Definitely gives a homey feel to it. We were on the 12th floor and the added security to use the elevators with your room card was awesome knowing not just anyone could get up to your floor! We definitely will be back!

Traffic was the biggest downfall

Huge apartments, well furnished, clean and comfortable. Includes a kitchen too which is handy. Location is good in downtown Houston. Free laundry facilities and tea/coffee station. Staff were friendly and stored our luggage for us on the last day which was great. I think there are 2 hotels in same building but you can check in with either one. Beds were a little on the small size given the room space.

Nice apartment feel. Comfortable furniture*. Friendly staff. Location great for dt. A bit difficult to locate (within Guest Quarters Hotel)... Little signage outside indicating Rusk Apts.

*The bed seemed a little lumpy. Could have had more towels. (The water bottle fill station in the hallway was super slow). Valet in/out parking seemed a bit pricey at $34/day.

Very nice and stylish apartment in the middle of Downtown. Great location, comfortable, bright and nice staff to help you if needed. A good experience overall. It was great to have the kitchen so we can prepare our own meals.

Needed to request extra bedding, blankets for the sofa bed. No wine opener (very important for the kitchen)

nice size one bedroom apartment with decent kitchen area, separate bedroom and bathroom from living room as well as a dining table and desk area to work.

One of the two elevators was out of service for the length of my stay, so at busy times the elevator was a bit slow.
