The hotel is very simple and the rooms too small. The bathroom is tiny. It is expensive for this type of room. The staff is around only part of the day. They are nice, but they aren’t there when you need them. They disappeared at 7 and left no phone number in case of emergency. Nobody there to answer questions or provide suggestions. Also, the hotel has nothing in the way of food or drink. Not even ice. No glasses, just paper cups. No coffee machine. Not even a plastic spoon. No refrigerator. Since food is expensive and there is only one shop in town, a fridge in the room would make sense.

After reading all the negative reviews, I was not sure what to expect from this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the reality. We arrived during the day, e-mail directions about parking were absolutely crystal clear and we knew ahead of time that we will have to pay again if we leave the lot. Just plan your trip accordingly - there is plenty to do at St Michel and enough places to eat, so you do not need your car for 24 hrs and can leave it to rest. If you plan to arrive late (after 7pm), just inform the hotel and you will get instructions about the door code etc. Communicate (you can do it in english, it was fine! And also, there is always a translator available to you on your phone). Shuttle to the island runs every 10 min they say (from 7 to 11 during summer). We had a feeling it was every 5 min. There is a Brioche Doree near the hotel where you can get a quick bite. The hotel itself is clean, bath has bathtub (which is a bit high, but no problem). Everything was clean, well working and water pressure was good for a shower after a long day. I think this property deserves better then what ratings are saying!

Excellent location to reach Mont Saint Michelle by free bus. Also it is very close to the general parking site and intercity bus stop. Availability of a bath was a great bonus for me. Space of a room is just fine, the bathroom is very spacious, the toilet is located separately from bathroom, which is also good if you travel with somebody. Bed is comfortable.

The dust was visible on surfaces, so the cleanliness in the room should be better. I have never seen the following in any other hotel: this hotel is FULLY closed for entrance from 12.00 to 14.00 )) Only if you have already checked in before, you have a code to enter, otherwise you have to wait under the door unless some kind customer with a code can let you in)) Still for me it was not a big issue as I arrived there 13.30.

I’ve been given clear instructions before arrival how to get there and even got a bus schedule, was very useful for travel plans. Room was not big but nicely designed and had complimentary tea, water and kettle in there.Big bonus for me is a bathtub! Also they had a good toiletries and everything looks clean and fresh! Very close to bus stop and restaurants and shop.

Please do something with a doors to all rooms , they are so creaking! Other question to hotel guests why no one hold there door when leaving rooms… Would be better if reception could be open all day, so people can pick up their left luggage at any time. I had to come back from Mont Saint Michele tour one hour earlier for my bags, because reception closed from 12 to 14, and my bus was at 13.07

We travelled with our 3 dogs & room was spacious, separate toilet & bath with shower. Coffee making facility, box of tissues, plenty of loo rolls, nice vanity pack & soaps etc Location excellent with parking outside hotel, close to free bus stop & walking paths to Mont St Michael.

Confusion with parking issues as I received an email with the passcode & instructions on arrival. All one has to do is head directly to Mont St Michael & go straight ahead to barrier & enter code given, we got confused with all the carparks!

The close proximity to Mont St Michel. A short distance to the bus stop where you get the free shuttle bus to take you to Mont St Michel. As soon as the room were clean, the male receptionist let us check in immediately, Im sorry, I did not get his name. Ofelia was friendly too, both who works at the reception were very accomodating, courteous, polite and friendly to guests. You could not fault them.

Breakfast was basic, no bacon & sausage on the menu, but it was okay. They had scrambled eggs, croissants, pan chocolat, cereals, yoghurt, toast and unlimited hot & cold beverages.

The position was extremely perfect! Great comfort and clean room! We could enjoy Le Mont Saint Michel at every hour of the day while having the freedom to move around in the complex and have great food in one of the restaurants inside the complex of hotels/restaurants

We had some troubles with the breakfast. Since we joined late morning there was no more food. Which it is a pity. The staff should properly estimate the amount of food in function of the number of guests. However, we were reimbursed for the breakfast (available also elsewhere)

The room is clean and it is not far from the bus stop to bring you to the Mont Saint Michel or Pontorson train station.

The operation hour is from 8am to 12pm and 2pm to 8pm. I arrived at around 1pm and the hotel door is closed so I have to wait outside of the hotel for an hour for the receptionist to arrive. It is not so friendly as there isn't any bench outside of the hotel and there are many bugs outside. The WiFi is very bad because even if you are connected to it, it still shows no connection. And sometimes even the mobile network couldn't function in the hotel.

The location was good with regards to the stops of the shuttle busses ('navettes') to the island of Mont St Michelle. The walk over the causeway and bridge to the island makes you appreciate the grandeur of Mont St Michelle abbey and the quaintness of the houses peeping over the walls as you walk - but do pack sun cream and a hat or cap.
