Dinner was great and the room was really clean, modern & comfortable. Lots of hot water and great water pressure! Food in the Rod n Reel is great value and plenty of choices for dinner☺️

Traffic noise is quite bad with constant trucks passing by however the hotel can’t help this. Unfortunately the walks are thin and I heard the snoring guy next door all night which made it difficult to sleep as well. Some glasses would be helpful too so you can have a drink -only coffee cups in the room.

A few hiccoughs had the potential to impact our stay.... remote for the TV had been stolen, bedside light was not working, pouring rain had drenched us... BUT the incredible support and kindness we received was outstanding. Daniel, the owner and Taylor, with good humour, attended to everything, even putting our sodden clothes in their dryer, and delivering them, folded and dried. They searched for a bedside lamp and installed it. THIS is real country hospitality. The food in the restaurant was plentiful and fresh, also.

we had a room with a shower. You could see how well the owner has put the room and ensuite together, it was decorated tastefully and a clean carpeted room. We both really enjoyed our 2 night stay. We used the Bistro the food we can recommend and a good choice. All staff kind and friendly. we would highly recommend. Also the shower was a great powerful spray and hot water. Handy to have a fridge in the room. there was air conditioning but we didn't need to use it.

The hotel is a friendly family hotel in beautiful surroundings on the river. The pub has open fireplaces, great kids play area and welcoming staff. The bed was comfy and room air-conditioned.

Had a disappointment with our bedding, and soap dispenser didn't work. Considering it had all been flooded, it takes awhile to get back ontop. Our issues are easily remedied for another time.

A lovely room in a lovely part of the world. We enjoyed our meal next door in the pub, and found the service to be very positive. We were very comfortable and the room gave us everything that we wanted.

If you wanted to be picky, you could request a couple of extra hooks in the shower, and you could say that the room was a smidge on the small side. But you know what? We got great value for money, and we certainly aren't complaining about a thing. We loved our time here.

Always enjoy the Meals at Rod n Reel the baccomadation is always comfortable and quiet during the evening .. Staff always pleasant and helpful -- nice relaxing stay -- normally an over night break .

It was a basic room, but had what we needed and for the price we paid, we were happy with what we got. The location was very good, with the river right across the street and the pub next door.

The staff were nice and I enjoyed dinner at the hotel complex, a great choice of food and many passing people came in for a meal. The room was very quiet and comfortable 😌

No breakfast provided by Motel. A microwave and/or some sort of communal kitchen would have made the stay much better considering there are no food options after 8pm ish

The Accomadation was perfect for an overnight and the meal was great at the hotel . There was a variety of different meals - bar service was excellent .

All was good and a walk along the river was good
