The room was really large and clean, the beds were very comfortable, and there were enough pillows and towels. The windows opened well and enabled a nice breeze in the heatwave we were experiencing. The elevator was small but worked fine. The staff were very friendly and it felt safe and welcoming.

The shower curtain was way too small, so every shower flooded the bathroom. The sink is too small, too, impossible to wash your face in it. The noise from below on Saturday night was as expected for such a central location, and indeed it was very loud. Bring ear plugs!

Location is excellent with easy access from Airport by Train in a location (Reeperbahn) that is convenient to everywhere. The room sizes are an okay size for a short trip, the linens and towels are immaculate. Beds were small singles and are comfy with the weirdest pillow, like a marshmallow. Rooms at back of building so not too noisy. Bathrooms are very clean but in need of TLC around parts of tiled areas. Toilet could do with a bottle of bleach down it to get rid of (years old?) limescale which makes it look disgusting (Room 218). Shower-curtain cheap and ick. Plenty of soap/shower gel in squeezy bottles on wall. Excellent hairdryer provided, didn't try the T.V. A lovely friendly bar at street level with spotless toilets. Did not try breakfast. McDonalds next door was the handy cheaper alternative for coffee and pastry each morning.

The gentleman on the desk on Tuesday (11th June 11am-ish) ignored us completely and left us waiting so long that we asked people on the street for directions instead. There was an issue with the Welcome Drink when we tried to redeem the card left on the bed for us. Only "works" if you book the hotel directly and not through a site like booking.com apparently.

The position is perfect to live Hamburg-by-night and close to the U- and S-ban. The room was pretty. Friendly staff.

Just a few points to get better: no bottle of water provided in the room upon arrival; the bathroom was really old —the shower without box; the towel for the body was too small; the kept sending me communications in German language even if I asked for English.

It s very close to the bus and metro station. Well sound proofed, very clean, nice staff and comfy. We enjoyed our staying. Probably on the weekend or in the summer there is more noise. The area surrounding was ok, we felt safe.

Nothing to say, but it would be useful if they had spoons in the room, beside the glasses, and maybe some tea bags or coffee.

This is a nice hotel right on the Reeperbahn so if that is where you want to be the location is brilliant. The hotel and bar/restaurant is all one building so it is very easy to call in for a beer or coffee before heading out or returning back at the end of the night! There is a lift to the fourth floor so you have to walk up a flight of stairs if your are on the 5th floor. My room (504) was at the back of the hotel so I can't comment about any noise from the Reeperbahn, there is another cafe/bar atthe back of the hotel and I did here some emptying of bottle bins but nothing to really complain about. The room was basic but had most things, a fan or climate control would have been nice. I booked several months ago and am happy with the price, you get a good place to stay in a great location - it isn't luxory but for the price/location it is very good and I would happily stay here again.

There wan't anything to like really, as I said above some form of climate control would have been nice as it was a very warm weekend. The bathroom is functional but I would have liked a little more space and larger sink but I can't really complain.

We like everything! The location was perfect for our purpose. It is 20-25 mins walking to the city center (Rathaus). From airport to the hotel just about 30-40 mins with S1. Reeperbahn station is next to the hotel (1-2 mins walking). The Santa Pauli Christmas market was just opposite the street. The area is not dangerous, there are many tourists all the time. The reception guys are very friendly and polite. Our room was so quiet, big enough, very clean, warm and bright.

Staff were super friendly. Hotel was really easy to find and the rooms were really clean and comfy. Location is PERFECT for those looking to party on the Reeperbahn! The hotel wasn't actually as loud as I was expecting and I slept pretty well even when we went to sleep whilst the clubs were still going strong. Would definitely stay here again!

I knew this going in, but this is more of a warning for anyone that doesn't know Hamburg. This hotel is right in the middle of one of the busiest party streets in Germany, maybe in the whole of Europe... It's not going to be a good hotel for a family vacation, and you're probably not going to get a great night's sleep. If you're looking for one of those things... Maybe find a hotel in another location.

Staff were friendly, had good beer at the bar and location was excellent for st Pauli and the reaperbahn was very close to train links as well.

Nothing really, was exactly as I expected it to be.

I was in town to attend a gig held at the Docks venue which is dead opposite the hotel. Hotel also has a nice reasonably priced bar area which was handy for meeting up with friends before and after concert.

A kettle in the room would be nice but not essential

My band and I stayed here while playing the Reeperbahn Festival, outstanding location right on the Reeperbahn. Great lobby bar with a great little patio. We were a group of five so a twin room and triple room was perfect for us, rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly, even let me check in early as one of our rooms was ready. Can’t say enough good things!!!
