This was our family's 1st time at this hotel and found this location very accessible to the town centre and an excellent choice for all ages. My 8yr old grandson along with his cousins 8,11,13 that the food was yummy and the hotel is Fab-U-Lous rating as a 5star). We adults all agreed.

As I'm allergic to dogs, that was my only concern when I read that Dogs were allowed. Had not seen any until observing one leaving hotel at check out. Not in my vicinity as my family and I were leaving the breakfast area. ( I would like the hotel to add when booking or checking in if guests are allergic to dogs) As this was not mentioned at my check-in, by the reception though asked for a copy of visa card.

Absolutely fantastic, wonderful We requested a cot, pre arrival they confirmed it, we arrived it was there in the room with sheets on it, a spare sheet and a small towel, nice touch we've never had that before at hotels. Check in easy , very friendly, and polite. We here placed on the ground floor, which was great with a pram. Thank you. There's a nice seating area with muisc in the lobby and a bar with spirits and bottles, only there's lots of choice. Rooms are very clean,a high standard, and very comfortable beds. Tea and coffee with biscuits are available in room, only thing was there was no de cafe tea, but that's not really a problem. Blinds and blackout curtains, so the room is very dark when closed and very quiet too. There wasn't an event on next door, so that may of helped. Good choice of pillows, too. Tv in good location opposite bed , plenty of plug sockets and USB too. The bathroom had a hand wash and shower gel, and the shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast is brilliant and the description doesn't do it justice, scrambled eggs, beans, bacon, toast , full continental, lots of fresh fruits, coffee , tea , juices cereal etc good vaule indeed and the breakfast staff are really friendly and helpful. Parking available for free , there's a restaurant in the holiday inn or there's plenty of choice just a 6 min walk away in the main centre. Train station 15 mins away bus station 15 minutes away. Walk to town very easy definitely recommend leaving car at hotel. We enjoyed it so much we booked a 2nd night and were able to stay in the same room, which was helpful. Thank you to all the staff we will be back.

Staff were brilliant on arrival, through stay and on check out. Only disappointment was lack of quality food at breakfast time ... I did however arrive just after 9am to find only a few bits of bacon and handful of beans left with no scrambled eggs or link sausages left... staff member said they were going to get more, but when I left at 9.45am none had arrived to replace empty pots.

A good sized room. It was well designed with chairs and a coffee table, desk, wardrobe, ironing board and trouser press. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower. The bed was comfortable. One step up to the shower so it was easy to get in but water didn't go all over the floor. The room was quiet, except for the last night (Friday night) and I was able to get a good nights sleep. Location good. Walking distance to Telford and its lovely park with a bus stop within 5 minutes walk.

Breakfast was included and I generally prefer a continental breakfast but there were 2 included hot items every day. For three morning this was the same bacon and baked beans. It would have been nice to have a change. Not all TV channels available.

The night porter Ian was very helpful. I was cold so he got me an extra duvet for the second night as I didn't want him to control the temperature of my room from Reception. All the staff were great. The bottled water was a bit expensive at £4 for 750ml and the water in the vending machine was one of the only things that wouldn't work. Apart from that, I had a great stay. Room was quiet enough. I had a great nights sleep, the bed was lovely and comfortable and so were the pillows (I'm fussy with pillows!)

N/A loved it. I was there for an event at the International Centre so the location was absolutely perfect. Loved it and would definitely stay again

Stayed in a very pleasant room on the fourth floor. The breakfast was better than expected. The front desk staff were helpful at telling me where I might have an evening meal & how I could walk to the shops. I had arrived by train from Cambridgeshire. I was attending The Beekeeping Show in the International Centre next door the following day. Very helpful to be able to store my suitcase & bag behind the front desk while I attended the Beekeeping Show.

An in-house restaurant for evening dinner, but I was able to have a very nice meal next door at the Holiday Inn.

Clean rooms, well appointed, nice easy check-in, no hidden car parking charges, great value for money, and a very decent little breakfast, including coffee that can be taken out, for the car journey. 3rd time of staying so far and will definitely stay again.

It’s a pity that the hotel doesn’t make more of the bar, as at present, it is just a sterile space with no atmosphere, and some bottled beers only. As a consequence it was completely empty. Admittedly customers can use the Holiday Inn next door, but this just seems a bit counter intuitive.

Smooth Check In, Friendly Reception, Excellent Shower, Comfy Bed, Good Location, Value for Money - Breakfast Included, although Limited Hot ( somewhat strange ) Choice. Walking Distance to SouthWater ( Eateries / Coffee Shops / Cinema )

Bathroom Towels were Crumpled as if Pre Used, which was a shame as Shower was Superb. Strange Hot Choice with Breakfast Items - Good Continental Spread, but only two hot items, on this occasion, Bacon and Beans - Maybe Bacon & Sausage or One Meat with Egg or Omelette, etc, could have been better - very minor issue though really, just an observation.

It was very good. Facilities were excellent. The area it is was just right to be able to walk into town. Breaksast was very nice. This is our 2nd visit to the hotel. 😁

The only thing that I thought was expensive, was paying for our service dog. £20 was a bit high, considering he doesn't get anything, no treats, no bed or anything we paid £15 last visit, so paying £40 for him was quite high. Hope you can change it for service dogs.

Location near to restaurants & bars is excellent, very clean & modern looking hotel & room. Nice size room with everything I needed

Shower hose leaked but wasn't a major issue. Cooked breakfast was very basic, could've had a bit more choice with not automatically putting sausages out especially have to ask for them & not being meat sausages. Which to me should be a standard item to a cooked breakfast so that was the only let down
