Clean but no room service during the stay, ran out of toilet paper and just went and brought some.

Great view but at a cost of 3 flights of stairs. We booked for 3 people and the third person couldn't make it, when we were checking in it was discussed and we were told we could have received a refund for some of the cost but we were not aware of this and it was now to late. Not sure why it was now too late to get any refund ? so that was disappointing , it actually put a downer on the stay as it was quite expensive.

Great location. Able to walk to a lot of cafe's and the pub. We had the top floor apartment. The view was fabulous. It's great that you have allocated parking spaces , and ours was undercover, which was fabulous as it was raining while we were there. The bed & pillows were so comfortable. I wish i knew where to purchase one of those pillows from!

Nothing we didn't like really, although, since there is no oven, perhaps installing convection microwaves would be an option for those who would like to cook/ roast something other than in the microwave or stove top.

Awesome Lady(Owner?) to meet us, just a really nice helpful friendly person, had a room on the top floor which had amazing views even when it was pouring with rain, well set out apartment with everything you needed, wife loved the spa bath, I loved the big shower and great water pressure.

Not a dislike but a lot of rooms are stairwell access, I have an artificial knee and dodgy other on, we had six sets three flights but they weren't a major problem. Just a note for people i

It was a fantastic stay, the apartment was great with very comfortable bed's and within minutes walking distance to the jetty, beach,cafes and pub. The train station is only a stones throw away for the rail traveller also but surprisingly quiet. The balcony offered nice views of the water and mutton bird Island. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The beds were very comfortable. The unit was beautiful, modern, clean and very spacious and had the perfect view (which we saw the next day as we arrived late at night). You could hear the ocean. The shower and spa bath was great as well.

Would have liked air con in the bedrooms as well. The fans in both bedrooms were noisy and squeeked when turned on and left on all night as it was stuffy in the rooms. Even with the window closed my son could hear the trains at night as you were only a couple of hundred metres away from the main station and he didn't sleep well. (maybe with ear plugs it would be alright)

The vicinity with the main street/ restaurants. The fish Coop and the nearby beaches. The walk over Mutton Bird Island. The apartment was equipped with all the necessary things that you might be needing while staying there.It was clean, however, the apartment was a little outdated.

The main bed was a bit too soft, the jet in the jacuzzi wasn't working. A bit of noise from the nearby train station. But overall we had a pleasant experience.

Prime spot! The view was amazing and it was walking distance to mutton bird island reserve, cafes, restaurants and more. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we had the best sleep! The staff were friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay just wish it were for longer. We highly recommend staying here.

The apartments were close to places to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also good that it was near the beach to go out for a walk or have a swim in the ocean. The apartment was clean and had all the things I was looking for during my stay for the week. Reception staff, really friendly and even though I arrived at least 3 hours earlier than the designated check in time. Got our apartment ready so we could feel welcome and settle in straight away.

Apartment is near a train station, so there are times when you will hear the train pass by. Apartment we stayed in didn't have the good scenic view compared with some of the others, but was not a real factor of why I stayed there.

Great location. we were there for one night only. Walking distance to the restaurants. We had dinner at the Indian Restaurant right next to the Pubs. We do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Absolutely disgusting food, none of us enjoyed it so please don't recommend this to any of your guests. Overall, we enjoyed our one-night stay at The Observatory. Highly recommend this place :)
