Karen (the Manager?) could not have been more accommodating. Even though the booking was in my name, she arranged for another person in the travel party to check in first as she was arriving before me. Karen was full of information about the area and things to do. If she didn't know, she'd find out and give us the answer later in the day. She was professional, but friendly and personable. The staff were all lovely and kept our room spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable, the beds were just right, even the pillows (I have a love / hate relationship with pillows in hotels / motels) were not too soft and not too high! We had all the amenities we needed in the room and a customer laundry at the motel if required. Royal Palms Motel was located within walking distance of a lot of points of interest as well as the Park Beach Plaza and various cafes, clubs etc. Based on my experience staying at Royal Palms, I definitely recommend it!

The weather. Of course this wasn't Royal Palms fault, it was Cyclone Alfred! Having said that, our room was a comfortable place to relax when it was too wet to go outside.

Excellent motel, super clean, and comfortable beds. Rooms get serviced daily, so clean towels each day. Even the little things like cookies with the tea and coffee station were well thought of. The shower was hot and had really good water pressure. Shops right next door, the pizza place makes a really good pizza (not open Monday), convenience store has everything you need. On-site manager friendly and welcoming, can tell you all the best places to visit in the area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is passing through and needs a bed for a night or two 😴

Bit of noise from some other guests, but that was sorted out quickly.

The staff were lovely and quite accommodating in our late check in. The room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable-ish. The bathroom was a little dated and could use a refurb but everything was clean and functional.

The parking. I had requested a carpark, however on arrival we didn't think there was on and we'd have to park on the street. We did then find one, a smaller spot and tight to get into and out of but I managed. A bigger car would not have fit. Other motels I've stayed at has the carparks numbered and each room gets 1 spot. If not needed then it gets opened up to other guests who have more than 1 car. I did not like that there was not allocated parking and enough spots for each room.

The location was perfect, only a short distance to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The facilities were adequate and the price, although a bit on the expensive side was what you would expect from holiday season rates, and comparable to other places in the area for that time period. In general, our stay was fantastic, the personal customer service was amazing, from providing us with wine glasses to offering us a coffee plunger on request, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely not hesitate to stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable and large. Water pressure in shower was strong. Room was well equipped with kettle, bar fridge and microwave oven.

We arrived 2 hours prior to check in and my husband really needed to use the toilet as we had just driven 6 hours from Sydney. When I asked the lady at reception if my husband could use one of their toilets, she recommended for us to drive to a nearby place instead. Service could be better, more friendly and empathetic.

The room was lovely and clean with plenty of space to move around and having a microwave in the room was very handy! The bathroom facilities were spotless which is a must when staying away from home in paid accommodation. Customer service was excellent and cannot be faulted! Very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble if we needed something or asked for knowledge about Coffs. We are planning on returning again in the very near future! And definitely recommend others to book your stay at the Royal Palms Motor Inn!

Dan went above and beyond looking after us, motel is extremely clean, the bed was absolutely heaven, shower was perfect. Dan was very helpful in all aspects. It is an older building but the comfort is 5 star. The motel grounds are very clean. Set in a very good location and a short walk to a major shopping centre. We had a very relaxing stay and is our one and only motel to stay in when we are in Coffs Harbour. The shower had the perfect pressure and the toiletries smelt lovely

We were overwhelmed by the kindness of the managers of the hotel. Due to a sad family situation. we had to cancel the second night of our accommodation and were refunded the one night’s accommodation fee. Thank you. Other guests chose to park right outside our door and weren't at all considerate in keeping their noise to minimum, spending undue time talking loudly beside their car, with their children running about. This occurred both in the evening and in the morning.

The room and facilities were clean. The location was convenient to both the shopping centre and eating establishments. The beds were very comfortable. The staff are cordial and helpful. Access to the highway took very little effort.

No Bible was found in the room. A Bible was not found in the room. The room contained no Bible. Christian meeting places were not listed among the available services in the city. Episodes of "The Chosen" were not available on the smart TV.
