Very clean, comfortable beds, nice linen, spacious rooms

On a very loud main road, opposite a pub that gets VERY larey. I had read reviews about it being quiet which is why I booked😅 sadly, there was a banging house party going on (not the hotels fault) but the clicking Aircon didn't help, so I didn't get any sleep. Was excited for our garden view balcony ... But it looked into a car park and down onto a toilet :/ The man who checked us in had no warm welcome at all, which was a shame after travelling 12 hours to arrive. Just a suggestion that a smile goes a long way in terms of happy customers made to feel welcome.

This was the best motel we have stayed at whilst travelling through Coffs on a road trip. Whilst the motel is older, there have been clear refurbishments to the room interiors. A motel is a motel, but we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, facilities and location. Rooms weren’t dingy (like most motels) and it felt homely, it was lovely having a balcony, new large TV with Netflix and all the facilities you could need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of options for dinner within walking distance and staff were pleasant and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Carpark spots were tight, there was some noise on a Saturday night from nightlife nearby and the bed was a little worn/firm. Nothing major!

Honestly one of the cleanest places we stayed including 5 star hotels on our trip. Place was spotless. Front desk staff very nice and efficient and recommended a restaurant to us that ended up being our favourite on the entire trip. Very close to jetty and marina/beach which was awesome.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable but that is subjective. The walls are very thin and you can hear people in other rooms. Be careful with a low car pulling into the one driveway as we hit with our bumper. Would recommend the top of the hill entry for a lower car.

We stayed overnight at the Caribbean Motel with our 2 children and it was perfect for an overnight stay. Our room was lovely and clean. It was modern and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again when passing through to QLD.

The road it's on and pub across the road were a bit noisy being a Friday evening but nothing too bad.

The location is perfect! We enjoyed an afternoon walk up to mutton bird island, then a delicious dinner at the pub just down the street, followed by a gelato, then a 2 minute walk back to our accommodation. Such a great location!

The bathroom, specifically the shower and toilet were not a standard size, they were squeezed into a tight space, I'd hate to be a bigger person or disabled but we made do. My pillow was flat, I had to fold it over to give it some height, but otherwise the bed was super comfy!

Room 23 is located on ground floor closest to main road and pub. Noise of vehicles, music and revelry into the late night. I could sleep through a nuclear bomb so I’m not overly phased but others could be. The bathroom is tight with the bathroom door opening onto the toilet bowl so using the bathroom is only practical with the door closed. A sliding door installed could improve this.

We requested a room with no stairs involved since we are all seniors and they gave us a room with an access from our own driveway. Although the driveway is small and is not convenient to park, it was an easy access for us. The room, large and comfortable, was newly renovated. Beds were comfortable, extra blankets and pillows were provided. The owners were very helpful. There was many restaurants across the street and the bay with many seafood restaurants were also within a walking distance.

Coffs Harbour has two centers - the new downtown near the A1 and the older parts down at the bay, where this hotel is located. We had a reservation at a restaurant at the harbour, so this hotel was in perfect walking distance to this, the bay, the park and the island. For the other downtown you better take a car. The room was nice, clean and big, also a big bathroom and a balcony. For breakfast there's a cafe/bakery across the street. We slept well and quiet.

Parking is rather limited space - and there's no elevator!

Staff member that greeted us was very welcoming and provided some useful knowledge about the local area. The location of the Motel is very close to the Beach and the wonderful little town shops.

The tight carpark spaces onsite can be a minor problem if other drivers are not mindful, We were warned though as we checked in. Not so much a dislike, but is some very handy advice to consider when using the parking.

On opposite corner to hotel !! 1.7 km road straight to Coles About 2 km to Park Beach - a must for families with younger children. Easy access to Bunnings and to Airport. The proactive, can-do, hands-on cheerful manager. I have been to multiple motels/hotels in Australia and overseas. Have even experienced owners very committed to their properties. He was the best I've met, and I'm a hard marker.

Parking spaces are a bit small for unloading children. Need to claim a spot early if busy, however unlimited adjacent street parking is OK.
