We were lucky to get this spot, last minute for my son’s Oztag state tournament at the stadium in Coffs last weekend. I read the reviews and was soo nervous after booking with the bad reviews. And turned out, it wasn’t even that bad. it was just what we needed, as I was travelling with my kids. perfect room for us. Location was the best it is close to everything, Big Banana, C.ex Stadium, Movies, Restaraunts, Kmart, Petrol Stations, Woolworths. Made it soo much easier for me, as I was the only adult and had my kids, we ddnt have to drive far for anything, the beautiful beach was a 7min drive so beautiful esp. the waves. WIFI & Aircon was on point during our 3 night stay! I’m so happy I ddnt listen to the bad reviews, and didn’t cancel cause we loved our stay. We would like to thank one of the workers his name is Michael he welcomed us straight away 👍 kids loved him. Would definetly come book again thank you banana motel

Only thing it didn’t have a laundromat in this motel. But it was alright cause the laundromat was a 6min drive so was no issue 👍

Friendly greeting and made very welcome. Undercover parking outside of room. Very clean fresh n large room. Two queen beds, smart large TV , wifi, large functional, clean and bright ensuite. Fridge, cupboards, good lighting and aircon. Plenty of bench space, electric jug and microwave. A comfy 2x nights sleep. Ironing facilities in cupboard, hair dryer, toiletries, mugs, teaspoons and necessities for tea and coffee. One block from shops, supermarkets, pubs and eateries. Highly recommend staying.

Long road trip and needed an overnight stop. This place was perfect. Inexpensive and just what we needed. Rooms very clean. It's an old motel so rooms are minimal, not a problem and expected for the price. Staff at reception was extremely polite, considerate & friendly. When you pay for 3 star accommodation, that's what you get, basics. Can't understand the complaints, those who gave a bad/negative revue should book a 5 star suite elsewhere to suit them

Down side was that there is only 1 stool in the room and it is not the right height for the counter top. With me having back and leg problems I had to sit on the bed, which was a bit of a 'bother' when using laptop. The rooms really need either a small table and 2 chairs or just 2 'right height' dining chairs. And the TV needs upgrading, it kept cutting out. But these are only very minor.

Beds were comfy. Rooms a nice size. Fridge, air conditioner, plenty of outlets. Good size bathroom. Four of us in one room and we had plenty of space. Staff were fantastic. Kept in contact with us about our check in time to be ready for us. Lovely place, will stay again next time we come through.

Traffic can be noisy so beware if you are a light sleeper, didn't bother me, though, as I can sleep through most things. Definitely could have used another blanket on the beds, but it wasn't the coldest night so we were okay.

The motel was super easy to find as its right on the main drag through town. Once settled in to my room, I went in to town to get some food. It's right in the heart of town but also on the main road in and out of town. No navigating where to go yo continue my journey the next day, as I left the motel and was on my path instantly. No noise from the main road either. Enjoyable, comfortable stay.

A bit noisy near the highway. The hot water tap would NOT turn off properly. Tried to let you know in the morning, but you weren't open when we left. Our room was #3. Thank you

Easy to find. Very roomy and clean

A knock at the door very early in morning by a couple of young men without explanation as to the reason for their presence. Asked neighbour guests and they said they had the same incident occur. Was a little unsettling as I was travelling with a friend and we are both older women woken unexpectedly.

Very helpful and friendly staff. We needed a very late check in and they stayed up until 11;45pm to greet us personally. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless.really good value motel. Great location as it is right on the main road and on route for us

The only thing to be aware of is it can be a bit noisy with trucks passing, being so close to the main road but I think all the motels on that strip would have a similar issue. Didn't stop us from sleeping

From the second I walked into the office the man at counter was absolutely awesome Nothing was a problem Bought us extra towels nd toilet paper without having to ask So welcoming and friendly
