Loved that after a long travel day, and arriving after hours, the check in process was quick. The heater was on when entered and it was warm and toasty. The bed and pillows were firm - just how we like it, and the shower was nice and hot and great water pressure.

Arriving late, meant that we had to park out the back, and not near our room, but that was not an issue. It appears that the hotel is popular with construction/road workers and there were a lot of early risers who were running their engines to warm up outside our room. But not the fault of the hotel. No bedside lamps, light switches or power points next to the bed, which are things that we are used to. But could do without for one night.

We had a ground floor unit that was very clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped, including a microwave. Check in at 6.30pm was easy and questions about restaurants, supermarkets etc given in a friendly manner. There are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance - 600m. Beds were comfortable and the couch provided great for relaxing. Aircon worked well. The pool looked great but sadly I didn't have time to enjoy. Parking places looked tight for the number of units however there were additional places at the back of the property so not a problem. Location is near the main road however there was no noise impact.

Nothing not to like. I will stay here again on my many trips up and down the coast.

Friendly reminder with detailed self-check-in steps, thoughtful room allocation for families with younger kids, and clean, organized facilities. It would be perfect if there were more on-premise parking spaces.

I was unable to understand why the parking was full when I checked in around 6:30 PM, especially since more than 5 guests had yet to arrive or pick up their keys. I noticed a car with a trailer occupying 3 parking spaces in the rear parking area, which seemed inconsiderate. For those looking to avoid street parking, I strongly recommend calling the reception during business hours to confirm availability.

Recommendations: Room 40 - Behind the bedside tables requires a quick fix, electrical power points unserviceable. Disabled vendors dependant on level of Disability, electric scooter or shower requirements. To get into the rooms there is a 5-10cm Step and shower is an enclosed by glass door unsure if it would fit a wheelchair. However please give the motel a call as they are very accommodating and could provide better assistance.

We self catered our breakfast and used the kitchenette provided. It was great having access to the microwave and crockery and cutlery. The motel was in a great location for a short and easy walk to a large shopping precinct with Woolworths, bottle shop, cafes, coffee shops and other specialty stores. Easy parking at the apartment door - our room was on the ground level which we requested.

The property was obviously old and had been renovated over the years. It was clean and comfortable and as advertised. The property is adjacent to the highway and we could hear the road noise but it didn’t disturb our sleep.

Grant was a lovely staff member. He remembered that i was a previous visitor. Very polite and hospitable. Grant ask me if I needed any help with my luggage as i had quite alot. Didn't have any conversation with any other the other staff members.

That the car park was basically take your pick. If you went out you had to hope you had a lot to park your car in. Every motel I've e ever stayed in has a car space out the front of your motel number. At least have a alecated spot for every visitor car. Even in the area by the pool and behind the motel have numbers painted so everyone know where their spot is. I had to walk to the shop in the rain my last visit as I wasn't going to risk driving then coming back and not having a car space

Beds comfortable and bathroom clean and modern. it. Air conditioner worked well on the hot days. Water nice and hot in the shower. Curtains nice and clean and fresh. Overall the room suited our needs.

On our last day our floor had not been vacuumed and there was quite a lot of grass etc on the carpet. Also our bath towels were stained and as reception was closed early on Sunday we couldn’t get clean ones. Just a bit disappointing with the cost of the room. Little things but important.

The pet friendly hotel is conveniently located on the outskirts of the central business district and next to the highway. The fact I could stay here with my elderly mum whom appreciated the walk in shower and basic facilities provided including a list of alcohol by the bottle she could purchase for herself. Pet friendly which is so helpful!

Maybe, just maybe a little too noisy. There is a bit of truck noise which seemed to slow down as it got later in the evening but because my pooch wasn't use to all the comings and goings of the motel she occasionaly (regularly) woke me up fussing at the windows.

It was a real challenge getting parking when arriving at 10:00pm. I squeezed into a tiny space which I don't think was actually a parking space. The Zebra is positioned on the main street so truck, traffic noise is ongoing but slows during the night. The shower only has a very high rain shower head, which is only good if you want to get your hair wet. There was no separate shower head. The bed and pillows were excellent and comfortable 🥰 and the curtains were blackout.

The space and the bed. The smart TV allowed us to catch up on a show on iview. It was pretty quiet during the night given its proximity to the highway. Short walk to the shops to bring back take away. Easy close parking. Nice wine glasses.

The throwaway wooden spoons, forks and knives were a bit tacky.
