Located on the edge of the main city area on a corner of the main road about a 5 min casual walk for the shops and restaurants. The room was large and well furnished. They provide coffee, tea, milk, bottled water, toaster, bowls, plates, etc, fridge and a microwave. A nice touch is they also provide washing up liquid, scourer and a drying rack. Beds are very comfortable. Separate large table at back of the room for reading or eating and a double couch as well. Shower was lovely, hot and strong. Bathroom looks a bit dated but is perfectly functional and doesn’t really need anything fixed or updated. Step required to enter the shower. Room has a reverse cycle air-conditioner for cooling and heating. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking on the premises and also free just over the road. Has 2 electric car charging points.

Unfortunately the rooms do get a lot of noise from the trucks engine braking on the main road (as I find in all the hotels on this stretch of road). But they do provide you with foam ear plugs to help against this. Also as with most hotels/motels the curtains don’t quite keep out the morning light if you want to sleep in.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and Dannielle was so nice showing us to our room explaining everything we needed to know for a comfortable stay, thank you! The property was very well maintained and the room was clean, bright and well appointed. Just what was needed after a long day travelling. Apart from some traffic noise, which ear plugs were supplied if needed, highly recommend.

If I was to complain at all, it would be the stairs, because of some mobility issues that was a little bit difficult, but nothing we couldn’t handle. On reflection, should have requested ground floor accommodation.

Pleasant helpful receptionist. Older motel revamped, bright, clean, comfortable bed, good to see top sheet as well as doona. Plenty of crockery. Good to have 2 luggage racks and mirror outside bathroom. Handy points bedside for charging. Thoughtfully supplied ear plugs, although h’ way noise did not worry us, must have been tired

Only one chair. As there was plenty of cricket, there is the presumption that, guests will eat in room, but nowhere to sit. One side of main bed was in a blind spot from the air con.and very cold. No where to hang towels, towel rail was broken, obviously for some time, the metal was broken, a dangerous spike. Reported before leaving, not sure if receptionist realised the importance of fixing it. Service staff need to pay a little more attention.

Danielle greeted us at the reception & explained all the motel had to offer. She even escorted us to our room & gave us a show around where everything was. The room was a nice size, bed was comfy, complimentary tea/coffee (including pods), milk, water etc. The room & bathroom was clean. Would happily stay here again.

As expected, being right on the highway, the traffic noise could be heard. To overcome this there are squishable ear plugs in the bathroom for use. When the bypass goes through I'm sure this will not be an issue.

They've thought of the details that are often missed. Coffee machine in the room, sustainable pods to use. Earplugs if needed. Cutlery, cups, plates and bowls - so you can enjoy more than just a day. Really clean and well presented. Most importantly, your hosts and staff make this even better. Friendly, professional, warm. I was shown to the room, ensuring that if there was anything I needed, I would know where to get help.

Staff were great, helped us with our luggage. Air conditioning was very effective and our room was very clean.

We objected to the need to hand fill a form, to incl full credit card details, full name and address, etc...By al means, request a cash deposit or swipe the credit card for security. However, having written details of every guest is an unnecessary security risk As this is a condition for all guests, unfortunately, we will not be staying here again.

This hotel is great value for money with some nice touches. The phone charger ports by the bed are great. The room is very very clean, and the chocolates on the bed upon arrival a nice touch. It is really obvious the owners take pride in their hotel with the improvements they have made.

It can be noisy as it’s on the Pacific Highway, but earplugs are supplied and we knew what to expect as we have stayed on another occasion.

Room was clean and very spacious with sufficient space for two people - armchairs, luggage storage and coffee table. Kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and coffee machine much appreciated as well as extra touches like biscuits and chocolate. Large openable window for fresh air and an efficient air con for cooling. Extra points for the resident cat at reception!

Lots of highway noise. Earplugs were thoughtfully provided which were effective for my partner (I didn't use them). Not a massive issue but something to be aware of if you're noise-sensitive.

Good location. Nice and clean. Friendly staff.

Not a complaint of property more our personal circumstances. I Didn’t realise our room was up 2 flights of stairs and there was a steep, slippery walk down to the car park. My husband had recent surgery so couldn’t carry much so the trip up and down stairs with our bags was difficult. Plus it was raining heavily so that steep driveway was slippery. I suggest a handrail would be good.

Great location. Crystal on reception was lovely & extremely helpful. Room smelt lovely as soon as we walked in. Lots of complimentary goodies in the room eg coffee pod, milk, cookies etc.

No one’s fault, but because it’s on the corner of the main road, if your a light sleeper those trucks hammering past may keep you up. We are both great sleepers so had no issue. However, the property does provide ear plugs complimentary. Also, the room we were in had a door in the middle on the common wall between our room & the room to the right. Which was fine, however, it was located near where the other rooms kitchenette area was so we could hear the neighbour making their coffee & using microwave quite early in the morning. Aside from those minor noise concerns, it was great for what you paid for it. Would stay again if I was in town.
