The hotel & restaurant staff were extremely helpful and accommodating! We arrived at check-in with a request of late check out due to having an online interview the following day (it had not been part of the plan when the hotel was originally booked). Front desk was able to allow us to stay in our room a bit longer to complete this and avoid some unnecessary stress with a morning scramble. Additionally, our room was great but we found out after a little bit that the heating/cooling wasn't working correctly. One call to the front desk though and we were immediately moved to make sure we'd be comfortable throughout the night. As for the restaurant, we had dinner when we first arrived - mainly out of convenience. However, it turned out to be a great move because the food was excellent! The next morning we made sure to stop down for the breakfast buffet and were once again, full and happy. A birthday mimosa was able to be found as well ;)

The original room was a king and would have been better due to being interior/courtyard view. We knew the morning sun wouldn't wake us and the city noise would be at minimum. However, we would have cooked! The room we were moved to had an exterior view so there was some traffic noise and only a queen sized bed (only one of us noticed this part).

The location was perfect for our needs. The hotel is in the heart of downtown and is perfect walking distance for a lot of cool shops and attractions! More then anything though the architecture blew me away, it is truly a beautiful building and I love that the hotel has kept a lot of the older features, while still having an elegant modern look. The price was absolutely a deal. Especially when everything is so expensive everywhere you go, it was so nice to be treated to a beautiful hotel stay with very friendly for an affordable price.

Next to the front desk is a little area that sells snacks and cold drinks, things like that. Not all the items were priced so I did not know how much an item was until I was already checking out. Those items were very pricey ,double to triple the price from a regular store. However I do understand that is the price you pay for convenience. You do have to pay for parking because you are in downtown Milwaukee and space is limited, so I do understand. They have valet and the hotels valet staff was phenomenal and kind!

The guest rooms are spacious and the building is in an old historic building which is beautiful. It is well located downtown (close to the lake, public market). The bed was comfortable. Rooms have fridge and microwave and there is a restaurant in the lobby.

There are a couple of steps up to the lobby and there was no one outside to help with luggage. If you have heavy bags, you'll have to carry your bag up about 8 steps. The price was high but it was a summerfest weekend and prices for all hotels were high. Parking as $39 per night.

This building have an amazing background, historical and architectural !!! It is an amazing place to rest and enjoy but also a place to wonder about other times in Milwaukee. Staff is amazing and the lady in the reception by the mornings was incredible attentive and professional. I am so glad of this choice that i definitely recommend it for travelers.

Everything here is valuable and enjoyably . Am a travel agent for almost 30 years and this place will fit all your needs. I could say the coffee maker was a bit dirty inside but took me 3 minutes to clean it myself.

Breakfast was good and was comped by Chris at the front desk, very appreciated. Our first room had not been cleaned so Chris moved us and provided us with a nice bottle of wine for our trouble. There was a mix-up with the first room, but the room we were provided with was lovely and spotless! This hotel is not only beautiful but the history interesting as well. Beautiful job of restoration without ruining the original beauty.

Probably the fact we had to move rooms due to a housekeeping miss, but it was done seamlessly and generously so no big deal.

The inside was amazing. Very put together. Very clean. Even saw people getting photos done there.

The location was iffy just cause it’s on a busy road which is unavoidable. So not a thing to ruin my experience just made it a little difficult to access only because that was my first time in Milwaukee as well.

The building is beautiful. It's cool to read about the history. Our room was comfy, the beds were comfortable and the staff member I talked to was so kind and funny. The location was wonderful. We liked the restaurant as well.

While checking out the hotel, there were old dishes stacked on some decorative tables in the hallways. One even had a moldy orange slice in it. Not sure why those were out there. We also struggled to plug in our fridge and found an incredible amount of dust built up behind the case that held the microwave, coffee maker and fridge.

The hotel was very pretty. I really liked that I didn't hear any noise. Usually at hotels, I hear people outside the room, doors shutting, people next door in their room. People above you... I didn't hear anything and it was great 😃 I loved how tall the ceilings were too! Made the room feel huge.

The bed could have been a little more comfortable, but it's a hotel... The lighting could have been a little better too.

Beautiful architecture and decor. Within walking distance of concert halls, downtown establishments, and lakeshore. The beds were comfy. Very friendly staff. Noon checkout was nice. Would stay again.

Valet parking was convenient, but it costs $39 plus tip and is the only option. I guess to be expected downtown. Overall, the total cost was a decent deal comparatively for the area.

This beautiful historic building, with its modern day comforts, makes for a fabulous hotel and was a pleasure to stay in. The staff were wonderful - warm welcome from Reception, friendly and cheery housekeeping in the morning, and the valet parking guy (sorry I don't have his name) was fabulous. Only stayed 1 night as we were on our way home to the UK via Chicago, but wish we could have stayed longer.
