It was in a good location for us. Walkable to the old town, which was handy and next door to a BP where you could get snacks and drinks. There were plenty of walkable restaurants to choose from and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had cups and tea bags and a jug in our room, but no option for coffee in our room and no spoons. And when our room got tidied each day our cups never got replaced with clean ones. You could pay to get Barista coffees down at the Bar though which was great. But overall, the Hotel was reasonably priced and clean and suited us for our short stay.

The room is absolutely beautiful. I think it has been recently renovated, and the decor is tasteful and cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable. This room even had an entryway to store luggage and bags, keeping them out of the way in the rest of the room. The electric kettle and coffee/tea were much appreciated! The staff were young and helpful, and the hotel offered a lot in terms of facilities. There is even a sauna. Bathroom was large and modern and the soap was lovely.

The shower simply made a mess. The lip of the floor is not enough to keep the rest of the bathroom dry. I had wet socks from walking in the bathroom. Really, I can't comprehend why it was designed this way. The location is also not the most central, but it's not inconvenient.

Coming back from Hallstatt, we treated ourselves for our last night in Salzburg, with this accommodation. It did not disappoint, we loved everything about Dorint Hotel! It does not only have the look when entering the luxuriously foyer, but it extends to their service and friendliness, absolutely professional. I can rave about our Junior Suite: beautiful, spacious, fresh and spotlessly clean. Loved the burgundy musical-themed interior, the separate lounge and bedroom with perfect bed and linens AND the enormous bathroom with inviting evenly large bathtub! We were also recommended to a few suggestions for supper and that also did not disappoint! We felt and slept like a King & Queen! The breakfast included in the accommodation-option we chose, was super. A very large variety was served in the tasteful-decorated dining-room. Wish we could have stayed a few nights longer! Recommendable without doubt!

The breakfast room was superb, right down to the teapots which I have not seen in hotels before. Breakfast room staff were excellent and attentive. The reception staff, and there was a lot of them, were very good answering our questions and booking tours. The barman Fred was a delight, my wife can not drink alcohol. Fred made her drinks for every night of our 11 day stay. Looking forward to our next stay in a Dorint hotel.

We arrived at 14. 30 and our room was not ready. Checkin was at 15.00 our room was ready at 15.30. I have never had to wait at other hotels arriving 30 minutes early. No doctor attached to the hotel.

Breakfast was superb with great location and excellent selection of all we could hope for. It included health options such as fruit, whole cereal bread, Bircher musli….Staff was very friendly and efficient! We loved the arrangement of your lights in the reception hall / bar and that you offered art work / paintings from locals for sale (we would have loved to purchase a particular piece but unfortunately it would be very difficult to take it / send it home to New Zealand without damaging it.

Once one coffee machine broke down there were queues / Schlangen, in particular when tour / bus groups showed up.

One of our fav stays across our entire Europe trip! It was my husband’s birthday and they prepared some beers + a fruit platter for us which was nice. Our corner room on the top floor was huge, though I’m unsure if this was given by coincidence or as an additional treat in line with my husband’s birthday. Regardless, the room was very clean with a modern bathroom, bed was super comfortable as well. Staff were mostly helpful and friendly - especially the receptionist we had at check in (im so sorry i didn’t catch your name!). The hotel was also within a 15 min walk to the train station which was convenient if you’re coming by train and don’t want to use the bus/get a Bolt.

A slight walk away from the old town (about 20-25 mins), but still perfectly walkable even in the blistering cold.

the staff at the front desk were very nicel the rooms were quite comfortable and spacious. if we didn't want the full breakfast there was a grab and go option for 5 euro. the full breakfast was wonderful! there was a diverse offering and in the states I never want the eggs because they are so liquidy, here they were wonderful! we walked everywhere very walkable city, although it says it's a 20 min walk, trust me, stroll the streets!

I think the only thing I was bothered by was there is no shuttle service from the bus station or even a suggestion on how to more easily navigate luggage thru the city.

Professional and polite staff rendering excellent service. Convenient location just across a bus stop on a route just a few minutes from Salzburg hbf and Mozart places.

This is not really what I did not like, but here we go. On the way to the hotel, we should have just taken #2 city bus right outside of Salzburg train station. Sure, we did not have tickets - we could not find a kiosk, but we were eligible for hop-in and out since we are staying in the city at a hotel. We took a taxi instead, and it was way more of a hassle.

The room was very big, was exactly I was looking for since we came with our 1 year old child, they provided free crib and they were very nice and let us 2 more hours for checkout as our baby could sleep in the room before going to the airport, we appreciated that. The location is very good, 15 min walk from city center, the bus station 1 min walk. The guy from the bar very nice also the cleaning ladies very amable waited us for the baby to wake up. The bed was very comfortable and big.

We didn't have slippers in the room but no big deal since it was carpet on the floor. Also even of the window was big, we could open just a small part of it and maybe needed one more window to open, but didn't bother us so much.

Our stay in this accommodation was absolutely fantastic! The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal – peaceful and relaxing, yet within walking distance of all the main attractions. We especially appreciated the convenience of having a grocery store that’s open even on Sundays right next to the hotel. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable experience.

If we had to suggest anything, it would be to add Netflix or other streaming options to the TV, or perhaps provide programs in languages other than German. But overall, everything was wonderful, and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Salzburg!
