Spacious, stylish apartments, incredibly well-equipped (dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave, oven, Nespresso machine etc). Staff are invisible but attentive and easily contactable when you need them to be. Beds were extremely comfortable. The location is very convenient for the Go Transit bus station and downtown Hamilton, and there are loads of decent pubs and restaurants on your doorstep...

There are loads of pubs and restaurants on your doorstep, so at weekends the noise levels late into the night are teeth-clenchingly high. (On weekdays it was fine.) Although there are wardrobes with hangers, there are no drawers anywhere, so nowhere to put clothes you don't want to hang up. I couldn't get the fancy Bluetooth speaker to work. And the hot water could have been a shade hotter. These are tiny gripes, though, in the scheme of things.

We wanted to get out of Buffalo for the Fourth of July with our dog to avoid fireworks, which terrify him. Chose Hamilton for the proximity, nearby pet friendly hikes, and to avoid beach areas in Fort Erie where people were more likely to set off firecrackers etc. The hotel was great! Clean and cute and in a great location, if you want to be in downtown Hamilton. Staff were super accommodating and virtual check-in etc., was flawless. Discovered the hotel's rooftop restaurant, Plank, which was terrific. It was a nice getaway for a night and didn't hear a peep!

DT Hamilton is sketchy. People smoking crack on the street right around corner from hotel and lots of down and out types around the area. Probably wouldn't go back for that reason. Also I wish the hotel would publish its pet fee up front. I knew there was a fee, but I don't think I learned it was $100 Canadian until fairly far along into the booking process, by which time I was committed. Much steeper than I had expected.

Friendly and helpful staff readily available by text - so easy to check in and out and they were eager to accommodate my requests. I can't rave enough about how taken care of we felt! Plus, the apartment was huge, bright, well-equipped, and so comfortable. Parking is private and secured and worth every penny. Loved the keyless entry and the full kitchen with ALL the appliances, including a Nespresso machine WITH complimentary pods! They even provide dish soap, laundry detergent, and dishwasher detergent! The peppermint body wash, shampoo, and conditioner was SO refreshing after a long travel day. This place is a total gem. .

Some apartments don't have windows in the bedroom. The washer dryer combo unit is only good for washing. Everything smells funky if you use the dryer function.

The concept of a no contact hotel is very cool. You only interact digitally with the staff. The room was chic and spacious. Kitchen had all the basics you would need.

On the balcony you can see into the next door balconies through gaps in the glass. Also the front desk (since there is no one there) could benefit from a small write up or qr code that explains the no contact/just wait for an email or text after booking situation. We stayed here because our air bnb was double booked when we arrived to it and we were in a bit of a panic to find somewhere to stay so on a time crunch there was a small lack of understanding on my part about how the check-in process worked. It all did go very smoothly I was just a bit impatient is all.

The layout of the room and amenities were superb. So clean and it felt like home away from home.

I think the instructions for the code/entry could be better explained. Example: for the parking garage you will see two key pads, put room number in this one, and this code in the other. Once inside the facility you will need jst this code for the door out of garage, the elevator, to move between floors and for access to your room....something like this. When traveling long days, and getting into a new city, new hotel....everything should be overly simplified for ease.

The location was good and easily within walking distance of the office. I loved having the washer and dryer as I didn't think I would need it but I did! And everything was self-contained within the room such as a kitchen if you felt like cooking with all the basic utensils and supplies. The shower gel also smelled nice :)

I usually like a firm bed so I found the bed a little too soft. There were lights in the main living room but wish it was a little brighter...again - just a personal preference. For accessing the hotel and your room, you had to type your code in the elevator and a few other locations - I believe it was a 6 digit code - might have been easier to just have a unique QR code and tap from your phone (if possible).

Location is great! Washing machine available! Kitchen layout was really nice and came in handy for meal prepping. lots of seating available and closet space. and nice wide coffee table!

Parking can be challenging but we made it work. The beds were way too soft, we ended up sleeping on the air mattress we brought just in case (I came prepared). Would be nice to be able to open a window. A table to eat on would be great. Having to input the code in 4 times to get in is quite annoying in the late hours.

This was the ideal setup for a visit to Hamilton. I was looking for a place to stay where I could also have some work discussions...not something I wanted to do sitting on a mattress and an uncomfortable chair in a normal hotel room. So the living space in the Laundry Rooms was exactly right, relaxed and comfortable. The separate bedroom was very dark, most mornings I didn't know the sun was up. Sleep quality good. Internet service is fast. Location is fantastic. Ate in both of the restaurants adjacent, Plank and Ciao Bella. Excellent meals at both; don't sleep on the pineapple pizza at Plank, yeah pineapple doesn't belong on pizza but when it is marinated in mezcal, that's a different story. A 24 hour market is around the corner. Value for money a major bonus as well. I felt this was better than a room at the typical hotels in town.

It is a little tiring to enter the vestibule / building / elevator / room with a code, but safety is important. Parking, as others have mentioned, is complicated. Typically I parked in one of the nearby surface lots, then moved to the street for overnight since they reset their clocks at 5 AM or 6 AM and the street parking doesn't require payment until 8 AM. The hotel's price for garage parking was a lot higher than this approach.

Great amount of space, kitchen facilities, large bathrooms, good bedding, fun design. Good restaurants around building. Nespresso includes some pucks. Garage option (separate charge)

Plugs in bedrooms are not placed at night stands, so you can’t have your charging phone or watch next to you. Only overhead light in one bedroom, missing a lamp. Paint is scuffed, particularly baseboards (they used flat white paint) so it doesn’t look as fresh. Upholstery isn’t looking as fresh and could use a good steam cleaning. Shower head deserves an upgrade. Queen bedroom door doesn’t close because of furniture placement, should put in smaller nightstands to move bed over.

Location, cleanliness, in-room amenities, comfortable bed and furniture, lighting, the view, large windows and "balcony", room size, and layout. Customer service was excellent, addressing questions and fulfilling requests quickly.

Small bathroom. Prefer walk-in shower instead of the tub/shower combination. Hinged, glass door for the shower did not work well; Fragile and awkward in the tight space. Body wash was empty. Kitchen dish soap was empty. No hot water until I worked with the in-line heater. Light coloured walls and furniture show some scuffs and stains from previous guests. None of these are major issues. Just minor annoyances.
