It was a nice wee place, even though it was on a main road we didn't hear a thing being down the back, not even the trains going past. Close to the shopping centre too. Rooms were clean and presentable, nice and cozy, and beds super comfy, had a fully equipped kitchen. The man who greeted me was lovely. I would book again.

The only heat source in the room was an oil fin heater. I do not like them. But that is my preference. We couldn't get the spa bath to work, so just had a normal bath, but it was nice just to soak after 6 days of travel.

I stayed at a 4 star hotel in Ashburton when it had a special discounted price and this hotel (Paraparaumu one) was very similar with comfortable bed, virtually all sky channels, self contained kitchen and ensuite (which had a spa). So I’m wondering what was so special about the other place.

Some of the paintwork around the windows and doorframes needed a little work (cracking), but other than that I was very pleasantly surprised by it’s quality.

Location was excellent, next to shopping centre, bus stop and railway station with views to the iconic statue and hills. My room number 10 was immaculate, had everything I needed and the spa bath was a nice treat.

Nothing i didn't like but noting that the door lock on number 10 was faulty and hard to lock at times. Office had closed by the time I noticed this and I left before it opened in the morning to report.

Was clean and fresh. Awesome water pressure for a lovely shower. Very comfortable and everything we needed. Only stayed one night but happy to go back again. Good value.

Car parking a bit narrow but happy to park on site. Noise of people stomping around in the unit upstairs.

Spacious unit with two bedrooms, nice communal space outside and excellent parking provision. 40 mins from Wellington. Shops and medical facilities really close by. Friendly hardworking staff.

Very poor WiFi and a bit hot, in spite of the ceiling fan. It was warm weather though!

We arrived there at 7.30pm only to find that booking.com had'nt booked us in at all. The staff were exceptionately nice & as frustrated as we were.Thankfully they had 2 rooms left to accommodate myself,wife,daughter & grand daughter for the night. Definately would stay there again.Staff were great,but phone them direct.

Location good Roadworks and Construction next door out of there hands .Did make walking and driving access difulcult

Free WI fi is not 2.5 gigs per day and then pay .If thats how you want to do it fine .But dont advertise free Wi Fi when its not Out of there control but not a lot of choice eating out in walking distance mainlly fast food.

i really enjoyed my stay my bed was comfy and my boys slept all night in the beds and I was able to get it nice and warm with the heater and also some milk in the fridge that my boys loved! defs will be back with the family

They could maybe look into getting a port a cot available on request !

Good location - handy and not too noisy even by a busy road. Lovely to have a comfy recliner in the room, and nice couch. The beds were good quality too.

The shower nozzle a bit dated, and the strength not great, carpet a bit worn and damaged in spots, artwork a bit faded. We had to keep the window closed for a bit as another guest was a smoking outside on the terrace beside our window.

Had a very efficient fan in the lounge, beds were super comfy, shower was awesome !! Very tidy and clean, we would come back in a heartbeat, thank you 😃

The neighbouring barking dogs - but I know you can't do much about that
