Very nice hotel by the harbor, with modern design and authentic feel. We loved the fantastic breakfast and the view on the sea. The restaurant was also really nice and we also took advantage of the kitchen area to warm up some frozen dinner and have a quick salad a few times.

Although the beds are labeled medium and/or hard mattres in the room, we found they were very soft and really not confortable. Also our room was on the sea which was lovely, but very noisy: there is a gas station for boats right I front of the hotel. Also many of the small motorized véhicules pass by at every hour. You’re not supposed to open your wi does and are encouraged to use the AC which in 2023 doesn’t feel right.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location! Close to a swimming area and great bird watching. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The lounge is great for relaxing and having a quiet drink. The views are amazing. We were lucky to eat in the restaurant and the chef was very friendly and accommodating to dietary requests. The food was delicious. Highly recommend staying at Isbolaget, wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything was great, starting from fantastic location and the view from the room, finishing with amazing food in a restaurant and a great choice at the breakfast. Hotel staff were also very helpful and nice. The island itself is so amazing, with wonderful hiking and running routes along the coastline

That our stay was too short 🥹

A beautiful little hotel on the tiny island of Donsö, with very clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant is very good, and the breakfast buffet is spectacular. We happened to be there when the fiercest storm in a quarter century (Hans) hit the west coast of Sweden, so we were forced to stay inside. Isbolaget was so cozy and comfortable that we were happy to do so, even though we didn’t get to explore the island and its neighbor, Styrsö. The staff is warm and helpful as well.

Hotel is finished to a high level, quality, comfort and extras. The restaurant area where breakfast is served is lovely and the breakfast is bountiful.

Even in June, the restaurant is closed much of the week and the hotel staff isn’t on site much, (the hotel staff was very good at communicating this ahead of time), it is nicer when they are and the restaurant is available but, it was still a good stay.

Why would you decorate New York Bridge photos and bamboo stuff if you could decorate locally. That is a pity and would do more for the islands

the room was too small, with no chairs, no table there's a joke about the quality of the bed being a bit "worn out" by the customers, someone put a sign "medium mattress", as if it was a quality, but in the morning if you're not 20 years old anymore, your back takes a big hit! In short, there is a slightly "bourgeois bohemian" atmosphere, as much for the decoration as for the rest. It's a nice hotel, but a bit expensive for the quality and the space...

The staff were beyond excellent and accomodating. The vegan food was very delicious and since they were so good I would love it if they increased the menu. The view was amazing from the room. The shower was beyond enjoyable. Would really recommend. On the expensive side tho.

Two single beds pushed together were not comfortable with the gap in the middle.

What a beautiful stay! My partner and I were here for two days and despite being in low season, this was a great place to be. The hotel itself was very clean, modern yet with a great boutique feel to it. The hospitality of the staff were amazing, particularly the owner, who we met on our first night. The breakfast spread was really good, a great selection of food to start again. We will definitely be back here again. Thank you!

We unfortunately could not experience dinner in the hotel as it was low season (it was not open) but we will be back for this. The reception area where you could play games/ chill out in was quite warm so could do with some temperature check but this was just a small thing.

The history of Isobolaget is fascinating. The hotel is an easy walk from the ferry and in a superb location with stunning views across the archipelago. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast outstanding offering numerous heathy options. The staff were really helpful and suggested great walks.
