Guest house with beachy feel in a great location close to a variety of excellent restaurants along the waterfront. A great value! Just minutes to downtown. Clean and pleasant. Great A/C kept the room cool in the hot weather. Giulia is very helpful and arranged for a shuttle to pick us up from Fiumicino Airport as well as a taxi to the cruise port. Breakfast is not provided, however, there is a great fruit bar across the street (seasonal) where we purchased a fresh fruit bowl for breakfast so that was not an issue.

5 minute drive from the ferry. 8 minute walk to train station with direct trains to Rome. The property overlooks the sea and has outdoor seating in the shade. Nice room and communal area with free coffee. Very friendly host. Parking on street right outside. Great instructions to collect keys and gain access as we arrived at 02:00 from the ferry.

Unfortunately there is major building work next door.

It was absolutely beautiful. Right across from the beach, my room overlooked the water. Giulia was so attentive and kind from the minute I arrived on property. She called me a taxi the next day to take me to my cruise port. The room was clean and beautiful. And honestly the property is in the center of such a quaint and beautiful area. I could have not enjoyed my time more. I will definitely be back!

We chose this due its location and reasonable price- and we were not expecting a 5 star hotel but somewhere clean and comfortable between cruises out of Civitavecchia . it did not disappoint- located by a small marina and sea it was also only a quick and easy walk (even with luggage) from the central train station We later found that even the cruise port was walkable -some 30 minutes at my slow speed - so unless you are overloaded with luggage can actually manage that too - if not its only a short few minutes taxi ride or taking the port bus from train station. Our room was basic but had an ensuite - which was perfectly adequate for us. The room also had great views of the sea and sitting outside in the garden you could enjoy the views. And despite a road just outside the garden wall we were never bothered by any noise issues. We also had aircon which was a real bonus in 30plus temperatures….A basic breakfast etc also came with the room - which was more than enough for us On recommendation we discovered the “all you can eat pizza” place up the road too - and despite the language barrier we somehow managed to eat way too much (it was SO good… ) And our hostess was great - so friendly and informative- plus she always replied promptly to any earlier emails i sent - thank you so much - it was appreciated We will definitely stay here again when we come back for another cruise

If you’re staying in Civitavecchia before leaving on a cruise make at least 2-3 days there and stay at Maison De Revel. A delightful B n B on the waterfront just a short walk from an array of seafood restaurants and bars. Guilia was an amazing host and made us feel at home which we did by sitting in the front garden area enjoying a lazy afternoon in the sun! Transport to cruise port was easily organised for us! A little gem!

This was the second time we stayed at Maison de Revel. The location is perfect; overlooking the bay and close to many restaurants and the center of town. We had a view of the bay from our room which was both clean and spacious. Guila was a fantastic host. She arranged transportation for us from the Rome airport and also a taxi to the cruise terminal. Thanks to her recommendation, we had a delicious pizza dinner at one of the local restaurants. We hope that we can return again.

Gulia and I had a great visit when I arrived. So friendly. The place had a lovely setting on the water promenade. Great location, clean and easy to find. She helped me make a taxi reservation into Rome and brought my luggage to and from the street. She had to leave but left me a note and we communicated through what’s app. I was not at all disappointed and would stay there again and highly recommend it!!

Epic location and upper clean room. The mattress and pillows were really good and the room was super spacious. Really quiet in the morning and we got to enjoy a cup of coffee in the balcony with ocean views. The communication with the host was smooth and clear. We wish we stayed for an extra night.

Maison De Revel was very comfortable and Julie our host was very helpful. Location is fantastic short walk to train station, restaurants bars.

I was disappointed that bottled water wasn't supplied. We were advised not to drink tap water. Also building next door being constructed took away some of the view.

The location of Maison De Revel was just what we needed. A short walk from the train station and near to all the port activities. Breakfast was laid out for us early in the morning so we were not limited to times or had any pressure. We were able to leave our luggage after our checkout time and collect it later in the day when we were sailing from the port.

Nothing not to like, friendly and professional with clean and welcoming facilities. The host lives on site and was available for check in and for any queries during our stay.
