Centrally located so that you could walk to attractions, venues, and the shops. Great view from the second floor, corner apartment. Having a free parking space was a bonus (secured behind a fence). Great value for money. Helpful instructions for self check in - keys collected from hotel across the road. Worth noting that you need to climb stairs to access the apartment and that you are located above a hairdresser. I actually found this quite a novelty (being above a salon). We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to visitors to Echuca. Having an Aldi at the end of the street was a huge plus if wanting to self-cater.

There seemed to be gremlins in the lounge room tv which caused it to randomly start hastily scrolling through channels and increasing the volume. Problem solved by watching the tv in the bedroom instead.

Weekend away mum (33) with son (6) we absolutely loved this room and the old heritage building. Beautifully maintained and the rooms furnished very classy. We stayed in the treasury room and it was gorgeous! Big windows in the bathroom looking over the street. Lovely sheets on the bed. Big Tv with someone else’s accounts logged in :) A/c worked great. Beautiful smelling soaps. We got hot chippies from fish bite across the road, which I can confirm were the best chippies we have had in a while! Great place to stay, definitely book! Thank you :)

The shower head could not be adjusted above chest height, pressure low. But temperature great.

Close to shops and restaurants. Room was cosy and warm. Lots of towels, face washers and hand towels provided for the 2 night stay. Lots of tea and coffee provided. Beautiful old building decorated very tastefully.

Cleaning staff should check soap dispensers as ours were completely empty. We asked for them to be filled and got more body lotion. We ended up going to Aldi and buying our own. Also shower head was broken and would not stay upright so you had to have shower holding the shower head in one hand

The location is perfect for exploring Echuca on foot - most attractions are walking distance, as are the main shopping areas of Echuca. There is a supermarket just a few doors down, and ample eateries within a stone's throw. Onsite car parking makes it even more convenient. The building itself is a gorgeous old Post Office, full of character and old world charm. There are two very spacious and comfy common rooms downstairs to relax in, and a great outdoor courtyard area at the back.

We stayed in the Treasury Suite in Oct 2024. I know it is hard to keep up with required maintenance in a rental property, but there are a few things that really should have been seen to before we were there, and certainly need to be seen to asap - I have messaged the Property Manager directly with details of these so that they can be seen to. I will not detail them here, as that would be unfair. I'm sure the Property Manager will ensure they are addressed quickly. This is not a criticism of the property at all, just something to be aware of if you are booking a Suite on the first floor - there is a steep flight of stairs up to your Suite. If you have mobility issues, ensure you book a Suite that is on the ground floor.

The location is great, about 12 minutes' walk from the train station and in the middle of the town centre. When you enter this heritage house, there's a massive living area and kitchen, exactly like shown in the photos. The hotel manager is super helpful, helped me find a local taxi driver, allowed us to check in earlier due to our change of plan. Allowed us to store the luggage after we checked out. Definitely recommend!

The soundproof is not that great, can hear people next door talking at night. Some minor maintenance issues like toilet needs pressing the button a few times to stop water flowing, and the shower door does doesn't shut completely. Handyman and solve these problems easily.

Loved the decor, high ceilings,close to shops and cafe's, Restaurant's and Hotel! Wonderful comfy bed! Majestic Old Building, DONT EVER PULL IT DOWN!!

Entrance door was a bit dilapidated! Needs to be spruced up bit! I did not see any Staff at all that day or night, but, saw a young lass in the laundry the next morning! There was , what looked like the remains of tablets under the side table next to the side of the bed I was sleeping on!! I moved it so the cleaner could see it clearly!

Lovely heritage building; close to centre, close to our family living in town. Friendly helpful staff at key collection. Room was spacious and clean and had a lovely separate sitting room attached.

Unfortunate that the roman blinds in our room had come off the tracks and as they were at least 12 foot ceilings, it was hard to fix ourselves. Consequently, this let the sunlight in quite early. Also, the addition of a full length mirror would be really helpful.

A beautiful apartment. Gorgeous high ceilings. Bed was comfortable. Very spacious and open. We stayed in the Halliday & Walker. Great kitchen. Close to shops, restaurants & bars. We ate across the road at the Royal (which is connected) so make sure you get your discount, just show your room key. We forgot!! Food was lovely.

Needs a mat in the shower as it is so dangerously slippery. Also no plug to wash up. This has been reported in previous reviews and still not rectified.

Very well located property in a lovely old building (original Echuca Post Office)

Access to our room was a bit strange with many doors and gates into the property locked off. Generally there was only one way in and one way out. We were on the 2nd floor which meant walking up the old grand staircase, which was fine for us but if anyone has some sort of disability you would need to make sure you book a ground floor suite

Enjoyed our overnight stay in this very unique heritage building. The rooms are huge. Secure off-street parking was great and the location was very central. Easy non-contact check-in instructions received prior to arrival. We also got discounts to dine at the pub across the road where we picked up our keys (excellent food and service). Our room was up a staircase so make sure to check that out if you have mobility issues. Huge TV and mini-bar available.
