Very nice room, good gym, and good location.

Access to spa is 15 EUR for one hour. Very close to it Wyndham Grand Algarve has free access to spa and with no time limit, with excellent facilities.

Staff was very attentive and friendly, both at breakfast and reception. Rooms and facilities clean and spacious. Good selection of food and drinks at breakfast. Gym is very generous and comfortable.

Facilities are dated, both old-fashioned and showing signs of wear and tear. Hotel is in need of thorough renovation. We visited during a quiet time in February, and it was a shame at breakfast that some items were cooked early in the morning (e.g. at 7) and then kept warm all morning and therefore not tasty - including pancakes. Would have been significant improvement to make to order.

Everything from coming through the front door was absolutely amazing! Nothing short of spectacular. The food and drink were amazing. Value for money for the stay itself as well as the food was excellent. We visited in March which was obviously a bad time of year to visit as the weather in Portugal wouldn't be great meaning the pools etc wouldn't be open but we made up for that by visiting the spa which was a 10/10. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful too.

There was nothing that I disliked about the hotel.

The staff were all very friendly and professional. The breakfast was great. The pool facilities were also great. No people putting towels out early and enough beds to go around. This is always a plus! The room facilities and toiletries were top brands and always replenished without asking.

A little isolated. Only one restaurant in walking distance, a pizza place. The hotel could do more to encourage people to eat in the hotel. I didn’t see much evidence of people eating in the hotel. Incentives would help.

The staff are really amazing at this hotel. They go the extra mile and are always available to help. The pool, restaurants, valet parking, and the front desk. The room was comfortable, large, well-decorated, and modern. I was at the end of a long hallway so it was quiet.

The shop closes on Sunday, and that's when it should be open. I was told it was a partner business, but they should make it stay open. Weekends are the busiest times, and I needed to purchase a bathing suit as I'd left mine at home.

It’s Anantara, what’s not to like? The hotel is huge, especially with less guests because it’s off season. Unfortunately the golf course is on renovation so the view is not that pretty, I bet it would once the grass has grown. The staffs are very polite and helpful. Cleaning was on point - they come visit during the evening too to ask if you needed fresh towels or more toiletries. Buffet breakfast was okay. Ria Restaurant serves delicious meals (try their sea bass; and the bread that comes with the king prawns are to die for!) plus the staffs are very attentive and Botanic Cocktail Bar makes amazing cocktails and very instagram worthy! Huge pools. Room with pool view is aesthetically pleasing. Comfortable beds. Lounge-sofa in the Balcony! Everything you expect for a 5 star hotel - room is provided! And last but not the least, we were allowed to do a late checkout at no cost - since it’s off season. Thank you for that!

I asked for a double bed; they gave us two single beds.

Unfortunately my wife had a health setback during the holiday, but the warm and kind support of the entire staff made it more tolerable. From the ladies at reception, over to the staff in any of the restaurants, .. all were extremely sweet and helpful. A very special thanks to Neusa from Housekeeping. We enjoyed the beautiful settings, the cleanliness of the entire resort and not to forget the very nice food.

We made reservations for a room with golf-view. Unfortunately, the golf course was being renovated and looked just like a construction site. This was not mentioned to us and if we would have known we would have changed our travel plans. But the hotel offered us a complimentary upgrade to a suite with pool view and that was very nice. In the end, the construction site didn't bother us that much at all. Although the food was excellent, we found it a tad overpriced.

Underground parking equipped with charging stations for electric cars, very spacious and comfortable bedroom with an amazing shower (water pressure was the best we ever experienced), nice pools with enough lounge-chairs for those who are looking for sunbathing throughout the day or for who needs some shadow. All staff members were very nice, proactive and quick. Glad to see the hotel was not understaffed nor staff lacked training even though our booking was not for high season. Every single interaction was pleasant. Meal portions and quality served at the pool bars were also a nice surprise.

Being charged for 8€ for 1l still water while dining at the Victoria restaurant (imo there’s no need to do it in such a product, increase the price of a glass of wine for example - paid 9€ and 11€ for two Portuguese red). The bedroom TV service is very slow. Reserve done to the “adults only” section of the hotel and then getting a room upgrade that was actually to the “non adults only” section (which was not communicated during the check-in). The hotel events (e.g. private parties) end-up having a negative impact to the guests stay which is not a fair policy (e.g. pool areas access restricted) …

The staff are friendly and attentive, from the moment you arrive at the hotel till the moment you leave they do everything possible to make sure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The food is excellent, there are a number of restaurants serving delicious creative food. The breakfast buffet is well stocked and has good variety. The pool is a relaxing place to spend time , the DJ's are very talented, and the music is not intrusive. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, showers are powerful, we would go again.

I'm sure if there was anything I'd only have to ask.

The fish restaurant was certainly not 5 star Atmosphere poor . On one occasion the kitchen staff were extremely noisy The atmosphere & service were good in the Thai restaurant but the food was rather disappointing
