The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was warm with good windows for ventilation, there was plenty of hanging space for our many layers of outdoor clothes and the host was communicative and very generous- we never met in person, but Tobba let us leave our bags at the guesthouse on check-out day so that we could go on a hike to the Reykjadalur steam river (we were especially grateful for this once we got up there and realised the hike would have been unmanageable with all of our gear!)

The bathroom drain did not work properly, so the floor of the whole bathroom became wet and remained wet for a long time after showering. The shower itself was excellent and hot though, and I was particularly glad that a hairdryer was provided.

I am sure an email was sent to me regarding the keys and entry however, I didn't not remember getting it. I walked over to the house next door and knocked, the couple was so nice and helpful and assured me that she always sends the email and of course I found it. I would highly recommend this place and the restaurant down the street Nordic Restaurant. The house was extremley clean and welcoming and it was on a nice quiet street.

The beds are super comfy and the place is at walking distance from the bus stop. It's located in a quiet area (not that Hveragerđi ever gets super busy or loud). The room I stayed in was small and the bathroom even smaller, but there are all the basics. There's a kettle, cups and glasses. Soap in the bathroom and plenty of towels. There's no kitchen but there's a microwave in the hallway. The WiFi works well, too.

I stayed for 1 additional night on top of the 2 I had already booked, which was fine, as I could stay in the same room, but they didn't check if I needed toilet paper or anything else.

Self check in was easy, the room and beds were clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to walk to a few different restaurants.

I was confused about the coffee! Everywhere else we stayed in Iceland either offered coffee at breakfast or had a coffee maker in the room. I didn't realize the only coffee offered here was instant - to be made with the hot water kettle.

The bedroom was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Also, the microwave in the shared space was very convenient. The location is great and easy to find and we were able to park easily (I'm not sure about high season, though).

The temperature of the water in the shower was hard to regulate.

Nice, clean room, with basic furnishing. Well heated with nice, hot water in the bathroom. The staff was nice and friendly, but there is no reception. Self check in. There is someone around 11 to clean the apartments, but apart from that no one from the stuff was there.

There could be more plates, bowls, knives, things to make breakfast.. Etc. There was a microwave, but there was nothing to eat from. Not easy to prepare a breakfast or lunch.

Room - clean, comfy, with ensuite bathroom, perfect bed, desk, electric kettle and tiny fridge. Doors almost soundproof. Teabags/instant coffee/instant drinking chocolate in the room :) Location good as well. Free wi-fi.

I know there's no kitchen in the guesthouse, but as there's a microwave, it would be useful if there were at least a few plates to borrow and eat something in the room. Also, a teaspoon in the room would make it easier to make tea/coffee/chocolate.

Location perfect for the trips to the Reykjadalur thermal area. Clean and cosy. Easy check-in process.

Very very very small. We did not have place to our luggage in the smaller room (we booked two rooms). The other was much bigger.

- very clear and friendly communication upfront - very quiet - several options for diner within 5 minutes walk - clean (surprisingly rare enough in Iceland to be mentioned) but the bedsheets had stains (smelled clean so probably just don't go away) - on site parking Overall a very good option to visit the area.

- the bed was super super soft, forget about it if you have spine problems - there's no kitchen (you have a kettle, cups and small fridge in the room and there's a microwave in the corridor) and not plates/cutlery

Easy check-in, comfortable mattress.

Shower and pillows - for shower you need to be careful to not get the water everywhere since the shower is the same height as the rest of the bathroom and the curtain doesn't span all the way. The pillows were too thin.
