The Blagrave rooms were booked as single rooms for just one night following a concert at the Hexagon Theatre. It is very unusual to find single self contained rooms such as these available, and at a reasonable price. Trouble free access to the rooms via mobile text made booking in arrangements simple and flexible.

One of our two rooms was much smaller than the other, and there were no coat hooks (although there were hangers available) and the surface beside the bed had a fan on it and therefore little space for glasses, book watch etc. But this was really not a problem.

Good location. Clean comfortable room. A bit odd getting used to the unstaffed experience and lack of public areas but not really a problem.

I would have liked a more proactive approach to instructions to get into the room. I had to prompt for them, even though I used the online check in. I don't really know why they are not sent automatically at 2pm on check-in day.

While it can look a little beat up when you first come in, it was very clean and had absolutely everything I needed. The price was good in comparison to all the other hotels around the festival. Great location! Will probably come back if I go to reading festival again!!

The location is good. You all right near the train station if you are a non-driver and everything is accessible by walking.

All good the room was clean. The shower was clean. The access was easy. It was nice and quiet, but the central location made it slightly noisier at night time but it was easy to get around so it wasn't a problem.

Great location and relatively good value for money in an otherwise expensive city to stay in. Hosts were incredibly responsive on the booking app.

Room was listed as having breakfast included, but this wasn’t the case (I was however not hungry in the morning so this didn’t impact the quality of my stay too much).

Simple and clean. The room was small but had almost everything I needed, and the location was key for me to catch a very early train the next day.

There was no table lamp and shower is very small. Kettle needs changing or at least descaling. Nothing too bad if you are only staying one or two nights.

this was an ‘emergency’ stay on 25th Dec at 23:00 due to my transport plans failing, it was the perfect solution - the owner picked up the phone quickly even at this time of night, sent me the room code in minutes and was very accommodating and nice, making sure i got all i needed for such unplanned stop. the location is ideal right next to station but very quiet - i had a good sleep. the room was warm and very clean. pleasant place overall. basic but great value for money, shower was hot and good pressure. basic cafe and tea options

Well, this loction no longer does breakfast but I just had a coffee and pastry at the railway station. The location was the best part, it was within sight of the railway station and that was good for someone on a tight timetable. The contact number was useful as I had to ask for directions and the person who answered was very helpful.

The fact there was no breakfast needs to be made clearer, I had to ring up to find that out.

I like the location (close to station, shops and restaurants), cleanliness, and communication. THERE ARE NO STAFF PRESENT (your form does not allow for this option); everything is communicated (entry codes etc) by text and email.

Two pillows (rather than one) would be good.

The location is great. Staff is friendly and responsive . We got everything we need.

If you are there friday or safurday and you are a light sleeper, you will feel the beat from the venue next door up to 1 am.
