The choices of room were great with both rooms facing the pool, we managed to take a quick swim in the hot weather when possible nearly everyday. The check-in went smoothly, with us being allowed to access our rooms slightly earlier; the location is close enough to town for activities, but also very quiet at night for a good nights sleep. The breakfasts we had were filling, setting us up for our activity filled days; we had dinner one night when there, the meals we ordered were tasty and well prepared by the chef. The Nguni team helped us with the booking of the dinner cruise and Boma Dinner experience, both went ahead without hitch, we especially enjoyed the sunset cruise as it was a birthday and an engagement proposal wrapped into one.

Nothing at all, the place provided what it stated when we booked it. The staff were very accommodating as well, helping us with all we needed.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was well appointed, and comfortable. We had a little struggle getting the hot water to work, but the staff were very responsive and we were able to work it out so that it worked fine. The grounds were attractive and well-kept. It is a ways from the town, but taxis are easy to get. One could walk safely, if one chose to do so. It was a very nice place to base out of in order to explore the falls, and certainly was worth the cost.

I would make two suggestions. There was limited comfortable seating outside of the rooms. While it was nice to have a restaurant available on site, they could work a bit to ramp up the presentation of things.

The property is very tranquil and quiet which was great after a 21 day trip. We could just relax by the pool and enjoy the peace. The room was very comfortable - good size, great bed and well apportioned. The tile looked almost new and modern. The breakfast was wonderful especially the pancakes! Wifi was stable throughout the property

The toilet had a slow constant drip which disturbed our sleep. We closed the door which helped diminish the sound. Something that the property could not control - the incessant barking of the dogs in the neighbourhood. Otherwise everything was fine

Lovely thatched accommodation in a beautiful garden with swimming pool. Staff were so friendly and helpful...we felt really welcome and cared for. Great to be able to eat in...the meals were modest, but delicious. We really appreciated the way they organised any activities we chose to do...with an excellent taxi service provided by Emmanuel and the team. Thank you to Naki and all the staff for making us feel so at home and relaxed. A great place to stay...you get 5 stars from me!!

The property was well kept and was as nice or nicer than the pictures. The staff were kind and very helpful. We are grateful to Bridget for her help in planning our itinerary and securing drivers for us. On our last day she arranged for us to have a private tour of a village on the way to the airport. The vibe at Nguni is chill and relaxing. We only had one dinner at the lodge and it was a traditional dish we very much enjoyed. For being a small boutique lodge there was a wonderful international mix of guests. Nguni Lodge will not disappoint.

The breakfast was very good, you could order what you wished to eat. The bedroom was super spacious which was a great bonus, lots of space to relax and there was both a fan and air contioning which I particularly liked. The bathroom was also well kitted with toiletries.

The location is a little bit out of the centre. There are pros and cons to this, it is very peaceful, but if you are staying alone you do need to get a taxi to the centre and at times I wished I was within more walking distance of the centre of Vic Falls.

Nice big room, quiet and appealing garden, hot shower, big swimming pool (in comparison to other lodges), good breakfast, very nice and helpful staff. They organised an airport transfer and everything worked well, also the early check-in. I would stay there again and can highly recommend it.

The bed is rather short. We had dinner there which was nice but the meat unfortunately hard to chew. The booking terms were 50 % prepayment, but they asked for 100% in advance. In this location a car or taxi is needed to go to the falls.

Really lovely venue that exceeded my expectations in most respects. It's value for money vs many in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfy. It was nice to have tea/coffee facilities. The pool looked nice.

WiFi wasn't great. It'd be useful if on the first morning at breakfast the young guy explained you had to help yourself to the options laid out and he'd take your order for a cooled breakfast. I assumed to begin with that it was a continental breakfast. The restaurant staff were absent on the next day too, in the kitchen with the door closed. It'd be better if they could see guests arriving instead of making them knock on the door.

Traditional lodge with beautiful garden that has several sitting opportunities around the pool. Quiet location in a residential, tree-lined street. About 30 minutes walk to the town centre. Comfortable bed with mosquito net. Lovely staff, most helpful at all times.

Would be nice to have some more vegan options on the breakfast menu.
