It was close to our activity for the day and not far from Duluth. It was clean and affordable for what we needed.

requested an early check in and when we got there, the desk person didn't even check to see if our room was ready. we were just told we had to come back after 3:00. Also looked like there was some remodeling going on because there was construction materials in the main lobby. It wasn't dirty, but didn't look great either. It's a little out of the way too so you have to drive to everything.

Large , comfortable rooms. More affordable than Duluth hotels and still easy to get to Duluth snd North Shore. Decent sized pool area. Helpful staff that accommodated an early check-in.

Breakfast items were not stocked regularly enough. Not much to choose from either morning if you are not there on the early side. Had to ask for toilet paper, as there was little on the toll and no extra rolls.

The overall building outside and inside is VERY nice! We loved the aesthetic! We had such a good experience from check-in to check-out. The front desk ladies were EXCEPTIONAL. Also all of the other staff. The night before we were supposed to leave, we found out there was an issue with my car and it would not start. We simply asked if anyone had any jumper cables or anything and they were more than happy to take the time to help us outside with my car. I really, really appreciate that. Everyone was really kind and attentive. Our room exceeded our expectations. It was very clean. Bed was super comfortable and the sheets were really soft. I always have a hard time sleeping in hotels, but the pillows and everything was super comfy and I actually was able to sleep well. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay - everything we were doing was not far at all, so it was a great location. It was our first trip to Duluth/Superior and we definitely plan on coming back and staying at Boarders Inn & Suites. Just another HUGE thank you to the staff who helped us out with our car!!!! Y'all deserve a raise ;)

staff were not super friendly. bed felt like an air mattress too squishy. housekeeping put the air conditioning on high so when we arrived and it was 40° outside it was super cold in the room. room was still dirty. half cut white pill was on top of my bed. floors disgusting in the room. bathtub was disgusting.

The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home! The room was clean and the hotel was conveniently located.

The Staff was good overall. But the one who took care of the breakfast seemed to have a bee in her bonnet. Was not friendly at all. In fact, she ignored my comment.

I had requested a room by the pool. They didn't have anything like that available and had booked me far from it. They upgraded me to a king suite for the same price. The suite was huge and much closer to pool and lobby for me. *That was important because I was traveling alone, I felt safer. Sauna, hot tub, pool were all clean and fresh. Included a nice breakfast in the morning as well as coffee on all day. Staff was wonderful!!! Anything I needed they got me immediately. Super friendly and helpful. I would recommend

Cost was reasonable.

Beds had cheap mattresses that gave no support and both of us had backaches. I slept on the floor for part of the night.

Very well kept hotel. The staff looks like a family and they take care of a place like their own house- with love and care. Very friendly and professional. Large pool, hot tub and sauna is a big plus . Hotel smells nice ,clean and spacious. Good breakfast is included in a stay. Really happy with our stay. Thank you!

Room was clean, facility was well maintained. Staff was very receptive.

I didn't like a "Angie" system instead of the phone. I had one question and couldn't get the desk to call me back. Would have liked a plain old phone.

The staff at this location was wonderful. They were very accommodating. We would stay here again. The Hot tub was great. The room a good size. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great. Very enjoyable and comfortable nights stay.
