Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were greeted by friendly staff who welcomed any questions we had. The ensuite bathroom was clean and had plenty of space. There was an area where a kettle and refreshments were if we wanted a hot drink in our room. We had a small meal in the evening with drinks at a reasonable cost the Sunday Carvery looked incredible! The building itself is very beautiful, it would be interesting to know more about it's history. We would definitely stay again when we are back in Cornwall. Breakfast was very well prepared, hot and tasty. The manageress was extremely helpful and attentive.

Room very large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Also had one evening meal in pub which was nice. Heating very responsive and more than adequate. Plenty of parking available. Huge bed.

The ensuite was a little worn and a bit grubby around plug hole of sink and black mould on some grout in shower. Breakfast service excellent on 2 mornings, but Sunday morning very slow, and service was poor, The price of bar food was on the expensive side, although very nice. TV was very difficult to navigate. No daily room service, had to ask for more tea, milk and toilet rolls. Considering we had a planned stay, allowing 1 drink for every 24 hours wasn't great.

I notice that any poor reviews here relate to the food, not our experience, but this is the place for reviewing it as a ‘hotel’, restaurant is a different entry. A quintessential English pub that looks as if it dates back centuries with its low beams in the lovely bar/restaurant. Our room was a decent size, immaculately clean with clean bedclothes and towels. Equipped with TV, a/c, WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, bathroom toiletries etc. A very comfortable night. Breakfast was a good selection cooked to choice, full English, scrambled eggs with salmon on toast, eggs benedict etc. Cerals, juice, tea or coffee completed a great start to the day.

I loved the fact the room was on a split level which made it so much more spacious. Although the room was facing an extremely busy road was not disturbed by any road traffic whatsoever... the room was serviced daily left so clean and polished... did not have to book specific times for breakfast therefore no pressure ... vegan breakfast was very good 👍🏽 ample parking ... lovely staff

Had a little four in a bed moment as I found long term dust on the board above the bed and on top of the TV ... all these places were above eye level .... tiles in shower cubicle could do with mould mildew treatment 🤔 but I'm assuming cleaning staff may not be allowed to use certain products due to health and safety.... not sure ...

Really great atmosphere, room was large and bed very comfortable with quality linen. Staff were welcoming and both restaurant and bar made for a very enjoyable evening. Menu was excellent and both quality and presentation first class. Selection of beers on draft left me with a difficult decision. 😀 My choice from the breakfast menu was a traditional English with I enjoyed it there was wider selection including a vegan option. I will definitely be back.

The Norway Inn was a lovely place to stay whilst visiting family over Christmas. The staff gave a lovely warm welcome and were - without exception - friendly and helpful. The room was wonderfully comfortable (with no noise from the road thanks to the double glazing) and exceptionally clean. We enjoyed every breakfast and a couple of evening meals we had there too. Thanks to everyone - we hope to be back again.

Great pub with rooms. Spacious accommodation, comfy beds, good food and lovely staff. I was worried that being next to an A road, there would be some road noise, but there was very little. We enjoyed 2 for 1 fish and chips in the pub downstairs with a beer before retiring to our room to watch the rugby. The inn is close to Trelissick National Trust where I ran in the morning before returning for my fabulous Full Norwegian breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

the room although on the front with main road we did not hear the traffic good glazing and the super king size bed great, room large and spotless, staff really nice and helpful. Although we did not eat our main meals there as we were visiting family, it was always full, that says a lot. will stop here again and bring the family for a meal. thank you for a lovely break.

There was nothing not to like. Oh maybe the trees across the road could be trimmed allowing a better view of the river Fal, but thats to do with the council and not the hotel.

It was a beautiful inn and although on a busy road, you couldn’t hear the traffic once inside. The staff were friendly and helpful. Neil, Leah & Paris ensured that we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Again, very friendly and sociable. Food excellent and the room was very well presented and welcoming. Clean and very comfortable. We will be back again definitely, as it’s very near to the University where our grandson is.

Having driven past this pub on many occasions it was nice to finally eb able to stay here and I was not disappointed. Full of character, incredibly friendly staff, delicious food and a room that despite being roadside was perfect for a one night stay whilst away for work.

The room wasn't the most up-to-date but this doesn't worry me, bathroom was adequate with a surprisingly good shower.
