The accommodation is situated in scenic surroundings. Victoria has a large and beautiful garden over which the property has views and access. She was the epitome of a good host and went above and beyond the duties of hospitality to make our stay memorable.

The property is situated next door to a kennel business, which some people may find off-putting. Personally, my wife and I didn't hear the dogs at all, and we had the windows open all night due to the very hot weather. So not even a negative for us! Victoria even very thoughtfully provides disposable earplugs for those that may be affected.

The cottage is self contained and has everything needed for a short stay. It felt very private and cosy, it was absolutely lovely. The bedroom was particularly comfortable and quiet, with a very comfy bed! What really makes the B&B exceptional is the host Victoria. She was extremely accommodating and made everything so easy straight away. You can tell the care and time Victoria puts into the property from all the little extras like tissues, entertainment including board games and books, a huge selection of breakfast items including fresh sourdough (delicious!) and even little things like paracetamol were provided! Not only did Victoria kindly offer us a lift to attend a wedding at a nearby venue, but she also went above and beyond to accommodate for vegan options and provided oat milk, vegan sausages and vegan croissants (served warm, absolutely wonderful!). It’s so lovely to have a proper B&B experience. We absolutely loved it and would love to stay again. Thank you so much Victoria!

Only possible suggestion would be it would be lovely to have a kitchen-style sink set-up in the annexe - I did feel a bit guilty leaving dirty plates and not being able to clean them up myself. But not a negative really, just a preference/suggestion!

I was later arriving than planned so had not eaten but Victoria (very kind, smiling, and attentive host) offered to provide me with a meal but I was able to eat at the nearby Village pub. This was such an exceptionally kind guesture. I was offered a cooked breakfast but declined and used the cereal option provided in the accommodation. It was all I needed. I believe the cooked breakfast would have been excellent upon reading many of the reviews left by previous guests. Comfortable and cosy accommodation with an upstairs bedroom making it feel more homely than the average hotel room. Set beautiful countryside near an attractive village, lots of country sounds but remaining serene.

The B&B was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately we were only there for the one night, but was super impressed. Such a lovely, clean, well presented quiet little getaway. The host was so welcoming, the breakfast was delicious Would love to come back again soon, fully recommend

Loved it all... the only thing I didn't like is that we only stayed for the one night. I would have loved to spend longer

Everything. The homeliness fitted perfectly my mood and needs. Plenty of information, no instructions - thank you - I appreciate being treated as a responsible adult. Breakfast was a super treat. Victoria was all that the above comments suggest - professional, attentive and generous.

Can't think of anything.

Beautiful little cottage with everything you need, Victoria is a great host who made us feel welcome and comfortable and made sure if we needed anything that she would sort it for us, we used the fire pit in the garden, very peaceful area and beautiful scenery.

The friendly feeling and everything that you needed. Nice and cosy with the autumn nights set in. Victoria was very accommodating with all our requirements. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Can't think of anything. It was only a 1 night stay, but everything was good

The location was superb, and great to park directly outside the cottage to unload all my gear. Victoria was lovely, and helpful and the property was lovely.

I really struggled not having a kitchen sink when self catering, although Victoria kindly supplies a plastic box for washing up. Its a personal choice that I like to clean up as I go.

Setup was brilliant Breakfast was awesome Very accommodating Really nice space, great location

Just a personal preference of washing up as I go but it’s more of a niggle that a problem as it’s taken care of for you so nothing to grumble about
