The room and bathroom were super spacious. We had a family of four with two older kids. We had a king-size bed and two twin beds. Everyone had access to charging ports. The decor was super cute. The hotel was located within 5-10 minutes walk from Brussels Midi train station. It was wonderful!The staff was super helpful as well.

There was nothing I didn't like

Very handy for the train station and central Brussels, my family of five loved this quirky and comfortable hotel. The adult-sized sleeping pods gave the teens privacy in a family room, and the modern comic themed styling was just right for the city with all the design and cartoon culture! The rooftop space was great too.

We didn't try the breakfast, preferring to go out for a coffee and pastry instead. The dining space felt a little dull in comparison to the bedroom. It would have been nice to be able to get a drink or snack on the rooftop terrace.

The room was perfect for a large family. We paid extra for a balcony which was worth it. Felt like a small apartment as had two separate bedrooms and outside seating area. Everything felt brand new in the room. Weather was very warm when we were there so thankfully had air-conditioning. Free access to cold filtered drinking water which was great. It was about a 20 minute walk to the main tourist area and 10 minutes to main train station for trains to the airport, Brugges etc which was really convenient. Location of hotel not in the nicest area of Brussels but it was fine - a couple of bars and restaurants right outside the door.

For a family of 6 the breakfast was expensive for what it was.

I loved this place. Plenty of room for my family, even though our kids are adults. There’s a 3rd-floor lounge with free sparkling or still water, a dining area (if you bring food), and rooftop seating. They also have a small lounge on the rez-de-chaussée, and an arcade with a few games on floor -1. The individual luggage lockers (6, 12, or 24 hours) were a huge help on the day we arrived and the day we left. A friend said the neighborhood - home to many North African and Middle Eastern immigrants - wasn’t “nice,” but we stayed 3 days and found it quite family-friendly. Note that in 2025 there is construction for a new metro line in this area.

The family room was much bigger and more comfortable than we had expected and the pictures thereof on their site do not do it justice. The decor throughout was excellent and the free arcade games in the basement were a plus. On odd "ballroom" with an oversized low hanging chandelier was an amusement.

The location while perfect for reaching the station for day trips out, wasn't great as we often just did not feel as safe as we would like on a holiday. This was probably not helped by all the construction ongoing in the area. They had board games in the lobby but there was no option to take them to the room to play. They should consider this with a refundable deposit option.

Very nice comic book themed lodge. Comfy beds. Clean and well-designed rooms and lobbies. Lovely bathroom and nice common room / dining with fridge, microwave and water dispenser. Loved the lay-out and design of the whole place. Loved the cinema and play rooms with arcade and playstation. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.

The neighborhood may appear to be a bit sketchy. But we checked in midnight and there was no trouble walking to the accomodation from the train station. Just like in any place when travelling, you have to be mindful and alert.

The location and staff were very friendly and accommodating, and is within 15 minutes of the Gran Plac, shopping , tram station and other things. The hotel itself is just beautiful and very artistic. Our room was larger than we expected and we loved the setup. We also appreciated the community area on floor 3 to get water and store things in the fridge. We also appreciate the recycling ability. My daughter's really enjoyed the playroom downstairs. It had old arcade games. I was excited when I saw those. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I didn't like that they don't have the smaller face towels.

I saw a few reviews that mentioned staff being unfriendly but we had the total opposite experience - the staff member who checked us in late at night was so friendly and helpful and again the staff member who checked us out in the morning was super nice. The whole vibe of the hotel is fun and great for kids. Being able to store our suitcases in the lockers was really helpful and very cheap! Our room was excellent with fun bunkbeds for the kids and a big comfortable bed for adults. The bathroom was clean and water pressure was great (why does no one else comment on this in reviews?!) We didn't get breakfast in the hotel but it smelt delicious when checking out in the morning.

The only thing letting down this hotel is the location - if they could move it somewhere safer then it would be better for families - but then would also probably be more expensive. If arriving late at night then get a taxi - DO NOT WALK FROM MIDI! During the day it is ok, we walked into the centre and also to the train station with no issues, but at night, no way.

For the price this was an excellent hotel. A group of 16 lads stayed in 3 rooms. There were upto 6 in a room but it did not seem short of space. Very spacious with enough storage. The rooms were very clean with sockets next to each bed. Facilities were good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The bath had a big step to get in which is a little worrying when you get out the shower!! We were warned by the staff about some of the people that hang around the areas in front of the hotel. We had a few people coming up and asking for money or cigarettes.

The cleanliness and the really amazing cartoon theme. The very affordable sauna (which wouldn't be if it wasn't a price per room so please don't change that) which was really nice. The available fridge was nice too.

- The shower was hard to dial: a small change could go from very cold to very hot. - There was sometime an odor of rotten eggs, especially when flushing the toilets. We think it came from the sewages. It happened quite often. - The room cleaning staff are sympathetic but a bit too insisting. We had a first time (totally our fault) where we put the wrong sign (Please clean the room instead of please don't disturb) where it was totally our fault. But without a sign, we were also signaled by a very audible "room cleaning": my thought is that room cleaning should be explicitly asked if it's not the client last day (but that may just not be your business process).
