The place is very pleasant and beautiful to stay. Rooms are good enough for the budget. Breakfast is delicious and the host is very polite and attentive throughout our stay. When we were unable to find a bus, she went above and beyond by arranging her friend to drop us off by car. This gesture was truly appreciated. The only downside we experienced was the distance from the main attractions. Public transportation is limited, with no buses available after 6 PM and none at all on Sundays, which could significantly affect your travel plans. However, if you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, this is an ideal place to stay.

The door locks!!! Not only are they impossible to use, The noise they make for all of the other guests is quite annoying, and you can hear them at all hours of the night and morning clicking and clacking as they unlock.

I really enjoyed my stay there. Beautiful view of the lake, a great bar nearby, and a lovely village with no tourists – the scenery and atmosphere are amazing. The hotel is situated on a hill, which is both a pro and a con since you need to take a bus to get there. The bus service stops at 5:30 pm and doesn’t operate on Sundays. There are only three taxi drivers available in the area, and they are often busy. This is something to keep in mind, and it’s better not to plan a trip to the city on Sundays. The hotel staff is excellent. I had scheduled a boat rental on Sunday, but the driver I arranged with didn’t come up. The hotel staff went above and beyond by giving me a ride to the city in their personal car. I’m incredibly grateful to them for saving my day and my lake tour.

The hotel was located in a small village, just some kilometers from Menaggio away. Of course it was not the most modern hotel, but the nature, the view and the great staff made it so special and charming. We really enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was also good and we absolutely recommend the food from the Restaurant. It tasted very well and everyone should try the local specialties. The room was very clean and the hotel also has a lift and a sweet little pool in the garden. The best was the great staff. Everyone was speaking english very well. And they were also charming, helpfull and funny. After all the years with vacations in Italy, it was the most nice staff, we've ever had. Thank you so much!

The location is secluded and has a stunning view. The breakfast area has a view over lake Como and has a reasonable selection (toast, croissants, some meats/cheese, eggs, sweets, fruits, and yoghurt. The staff is nice but can sometimes be not present because I think everything is run by 1 person. Hotel has a private parking lot that has room for about 7-8 cars I’d say. Across there is street parking.

The rooms have no air conditioning. We opened a window, but I can imagine that during the hot summer months it will get too hot in the room

It was a pleasant stay, breakfast is sufficient. Dinner was perfect, a variety of excellent pizza, desserts and beverages. It is an excellent location for venturing to the villages surrounding lake Como or for hiking tours in the mountains. We enjoyed the vintage vibes of the room, with a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff is nice and helpful, the rooms are clean.

The place was insane, so beautiful. Have a views to the lake and hills. The staff are very kind, they help with information always, very confortable. They bring you breakfast in the morning, what a experience ! and have the option for dinner too, with local food, really tasty. Commun areas are really nice, have a big pool, bar and restaurant, and allways clean like the room.

It's a little far from Menaggio, the last bus is 17:36, but also you can take an uber or electric bikes.

Really enjoyed our stay! We received a very friendly and warm welcome on arrival. The lady who gritted us also served us amazing food in a very good restaurant! Oh, and the view from the restaurant terrace was just spectacular, overlooking lake Como! Really liked the retro style in a room and all the facilities! Nothing fancy but adequate and comfortable. Breakfast was very good too. Wish we could stay longer then just one night! Definitely deserves 10 out of 10!!!

Lovely staff, great accommodations and ambience. They offered us all kinds of help and guidance to enjoy our stay as best as possible. They have a restaurant that offers delicious and affordable food and a swimming pool. The views from the hotel are incredible. There is a bus stop right at the entrance of the hotel, which connects Menaggio-Plesio. In conclusion, I really recommend staying at this hotel if you are considering visiting Como.

First of all, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to David and Tina. You two are the most amazing hosts we have EVER met. You made our entire trip exceptionally special and unforgettable. Staying at your place truly felt like being at home. Not to mention, the room and food were phenomenal, and the service was impeccable, scoring a perfect 100/100. Due to the delays in our flight and train schedules, we only managed to reach Menaggio around midnight. At that hour, taxis and public transportation were unavailable to take us to our accommodation. Thankfully, when we contacted the hotel, they went above and beyond to arrange a ride for us. Upon our arrival, not only did they waive the late check-in fee, but they also kindly offered us drinks, recognizing the exhaustion we felt after the long journey. This experience set a positive tone for our trip, and we sincerely value their assistance. In addition, the breakfast each morning is delectable, and our absolute favorite is their CAPPUCCINO. We got to have dinner at the hotel for two nights in a row, and the experience was just as enjoyable. It’s worth noting that dinner times are consistently bustling at the hotel. We also had the chance to meet some wonderful individuals during our stay, which truly contributed to the homely ambiance. During our last day, David and Tina surprised us with a free ride down to the city centre (their is no public transport on a Sunday). Their thoughtful gesture left us nearly speechless, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done. Without a doubt, if our travels bring us back to Menaggio, we will eagerly return to their establishment. Our heartfelt thanks for making our stay truly exceptional!
