Very comfortable beds, loved the aircon, food was excellent (the tandoori chicken was a highlight!) Breakfast was included, and had a great range of options Person at the checkout counter was really friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to the airport was handy I liked being able to screen share from my phone, however it was quite technical to set up. The speakers were also an issue, I had to go into the tv settings to fix that. So might trip up people that aren't as tech literate. I'd suggest a Chromecast or something else instead

Bathroom was a bit outdated Walls were quite thin, I could hear the man in the next room talking on the phone. Didn't bother me that much, but something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper

Staff is amazing! Dinner at the garden restaurant was lovely. Breakfast is good and shuttle service is excellent!

Japanese restaurant - a lady took our order and said that they were very busy which is understandable. But we sat down and waited for 25 minutes - no drinks, or starters were served. When we asked how long would the wait be, we were told that once they finished with one table we were next….. well, this is not how restaurants operate!

The room exceeded our expectations. The breakfast (included in our room rate) was exceptional value for money. The hotel is near Nadi International Airport ($8 by taxi).

Communication with regard to the airport shuttle timings. The staff who checked us in discussed our check-out time (11 a.m.) and were aware that we would be in the lobby by 10:30 a.m. However, they should have advised us that we would have to wait another half hour for the airport shuttle which apparently is hourly (on the hour). We ended up taking a taxi to the airport rather than sit in the heat for half an hour

We looked forward to breakfast everyday. Great selection of cooked foods, breads, pastries etc. The lunch and dinner menu, although not huge had a good selection. Everything we ordered was tasty and well presented. They also had specials on a few nights a week. Our room was a twin double. The room was a good size, beds were comfortable and having a small table and chairs outside was great. The swimming pool was well kept, the gym was a good size and there was also a sauna which was nice. There is a cafe on site where you can get coffees and also a small selection of juices. The beetroot was very tasty. I had a massage in the small spa which I enjoyed. Overall, the staff were very friendly and certainly made our stay nicer. Suli the concerige was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The staff are a credit to the hotel. The shuttle bus to and from the airport was great. Ten minutes wall to a small shopping centre.

The hotel room was lovely, clean and a good size with good amenities. The breakfast was good and was a varied choice. It was close to the airport and easy to find. There was access to washing machine and dryer too.

The hotel was advertised with a pool however it was closed for 4 months for renovation. This was not advertised at time of booking or communicated to me after the booking. When I asked the hotel staff about the pool I was told 'it was announced on social media'. A bit poor. We were allowed to use another pool at the sister hotel and transport provided but was not regular or reliable so we ended up walking back along the busy road in really hot heat. The pool water was like getting into a warm bath so when in 30 degree heat was not cooling! There were no lifeguards or any supervision but luckily the pool was not deep.

Great proximity to the airport and surrounding stores. The concierge was nice and clean. Loved the coffee from the cafe onsite and the pizza was nice. We liked the two different pools. It also has laundry facilities on site which was handy. We also loved how friendly everyone was and the helpful staff! Special mention to Sai who we only met on the last two days who was great with our children.

The rooms were too far back and felt a bit like a dormitory. The shops onsite were so and so didn’t have much of a variety. The gym was nice but could use an upgrade and more machines. There was literally one treadmill with so many people wanting to use it at one time. The hotel could also benefit from more food stores onsite or a convenience store. We had to keep popping out in a taxi to buy small items.

We have stayed at Tanoa International 4 times now, as a base before and after trips to the Yasawas and for exploring the main island. We keep coming back because we're not interested in big fancy crowded resorts. Tanoa offers a quieter, casual yet professional and super friendly vibe. Good breakfasts included. Comfortable rooms (some recently renovated and more underway).. 10-15 minute walk to local shops, including Jack's and a supermarket. Free airport shuttle service.

A little more shade around the pool would be a good addition.

The staff and management were phenomenal with great hospitality. Always there to help and assist.

The lack of communication in advising during booking process that swimming pool will be closed for renovation during our stay. This was one of the main amenities we wanted to have for our children to enjoy the warm weather and stay cool. Also our room had cockroaches and some bugs we had to call room services.

There was a delay of over an hour collecting us from the airport - required an additional phone call to request shuttle. Pool was shut due to prolonged renovations, which was not declared in advance and there was no specific compensation for this, which would have been nice. Not such an issue for us as was just a one night stay.

The facilities are beautiful, the staff are the highlight of the stay.. superstars all of them. Made my stay awesome.

It's a shame that I have to mention this but for facilities and staff to be that great you guys need to serve better food.... if the food was better this place would be a 10/10., breakfast buffet and room service food disappointing.
