The wonderful location is always a plus. It’s within walking distant to anything you’d want. The on-site restaurant and coffee shop were great. The staff inside the hotel are kind, and thoughtful. As this hotel has a boutique feel, you don’t just feel like a forgotten guest. The personal touches go a long way. The rooms are thoughtfully arranged to maximize storage and convenience. As well as the cleanliness of the entire hotel (rooms included) make this a place I would absolutely stay again. We’ve stayed at a few other “higher end” hotels in Savannah, and the Drayton sits right up there with my list of best of the best. (*The only thing that wasn’t up to snuff was the valet parking. It may be a situation of being short handed, or people in training. But the one attendant that was working our weekend needs additional training and/or more help. From the pull up in the alley with no one there to getting a text that our vehicle had been checked out, when we were out to eat. To checking out and him trying to give us the wrong car then the wrong keys:( The front desk was dedicated to trying to help and make it right. And in the end we ended up getting our vehicle back, and all was right. I would still highly recommend parking in the garage just across the street yourself until they up their valet training.)
The valet was a mess. (self parking directly across the street is your best bet!)

So this is a lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location. The room was spacious and quite sound proof. We really thought this was worth the cost of our stay initially. The restaurant was quite good as well. Its a spacious old building
So there are lots of lovely hotels in Savannah. We ultimately booked here because of reviews and the lack of the ever pervasive destination fee. The Booking.com listing listed no additional charges as a possibility, however the hotel charged us 32.00 + tax for a nightly amenity fee(for TV, internet service, newspaper, two glasses wine). While Booking.com said that they would refund this, the process to get that refund has been a total hassle requiring multiple phone calls, documentation sent and re-sent and almost two months on, no refund.

The hotel was super cute end beautifully decorated! The lobby was inviting and nice to sit in with your complimentary wine. I was more comfortable in my hotel room than any other hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bed and bedding were very clean. I was given a robe that was very nice, that I actually wore. The room was quiet, I didn’t hear a lot of noise from other guests. Both the rooftop and basement bars were decorated festive and the bar tenders were top of the line guys with incredible creativity with drinks. The staff overall was very kind and helpful. I absolutely loved my stay.

The hotel is in a great location! Everything was walkable from the hotel. The hotel also provides two bikes for its guests which is great. We rode around the whole historical district on bikes, and it was very enjoyable! The rooms were always clean and the beds were soooo comfortable! We slept like babies in those beds. they were also serving bottomless, sparkling wine in the lobby, which was great! We also got a $10 per day coupon to use in any restaurant bar or coffee shop in the hotel which we thought was very nice.

Unfortunately during my stay the restaurant was closed for remodeling. They offered a grab and go breakfast which woukd have been ok had they not run out of the good option and the breakfast sandwich was horribly dry. Not great overall.
The hotel is very very cute and the rooms are comfortable. Also a wonderful location, center to most things.

Staff was in great in Dinning room. Some of the staff was friendly and professional at the front desk.
The beds were too high not comfortable. The comforters were too bulky and hot asked for blankets several times. No luck. Said they are used in winter and in storage. I had to pursue. No luck. Very uncomfortable sleep. We did not get a good night sleep. The room was never swept. Had pill broken up on bedroom floor. Picked up what I could Still there when I left. Bathroom fair in cleaning always felt room was not clean

Great location and the rooms were very nice and very clean. The first room had a TV that wouldn't change from the weather channel so the staff moved my cousin and I to a new room. All was great after the move. We walked every where we wanted to go once we got to the hotel so that was a plus as well.
They could have told me that there were several parking garages that would have cut my 1 day valet parking expense from $48 to $24. I also found it odd that you had to go to the front desk to get ice. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't have ice on every floor for it's guests.

Excellent location. Nothing we wanted to do was farther than a 10-minute walk. Beautiful and comfortable room and hotel lobby. My daughter and I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and had plenty of room. Amazing value, plus the room came with daily $25/person toward breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and free glass of wine in the afternoon. They're also very accommodating with arrival and departure times. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Only minor things: Housekeeping and turndown service were spotty, due to staff shortage I think. The mattress was really soft, but I slept fine. Wish we could log into streaming services on the room's TV or cast our phone onto the TV.

The staff was super accommodating and friendly. They took time to get to know us and made the entire visit oh so welcoming!! They left a sweet treat and a personalized anniversary card for us in our room. The location was perfect, right in the center of downtown, with eateries, nightlife, tours, and more nearby.
