Perfect location for a night before travelling back to the UK, the location was great, quick trip to the Shuttle and near to supermarkets and Restaurants. The automated check in was easy, codes not keys for the comfortable room, as a lone female traveller, I felt safe.

The room was clean and comfortable, but basic, It is the budget option, so be aware that the rooms do not have tea and coffee facilities. The showers and loos are clean, but shared facilities, I was there on Saturday night and never had to wait to use the bathrooms.

Poor breakfast; not as before when we have stayed here. At 8.30 bread options limited - no croissants, cold meats or chesses and all fruit had gone. Some guests had taken extra bananas for midday snacks likewise the croissants and cheese. With still 1 hour to go before breakfast finished we were more than a little disappointed.

It was a very affordable and simple accommodation but great for no frills, budget travel. The model is great for tourists and workers needing a bed for a night while taking the Chunnel shuttle.

The self check in was a bit complicated but worked perfectly once you figure it out. I had to go to the car from the breakfast room to find something and had forgotten the access code. I was able to get the attention of someone having breakfast so was able to be admitted.

Budget hotel for an unbeatable price. Rated accordingly:) Room is small but very clean, bed was surprisingly comfortable, that’s all I needed for a quick stopover. Other bonuses: Close to eurotunnel terminal, locked parking with designated spots for motorcycles, possible to attach lock to special poles. Very convenient.

Didn’t have the breakfast, but the coffee machine had good cheap coffee for one and a half euros.

I read some reviews and was a little bit worried but the computer to get in worked fine. We had an on suite which I wasn’t sure we would get so I was happy about that. The room was very small but very clean and suitable for 1 night.

The only thing I didn’t like and not the properties fault was people turning up all night and talking loudly when getting their bags out of the car.

Simplistic nature of the booking and stay. Simply check in at the self-serve machine, get your code and get in!

Oddly there are no toilet seats which makes it kind of unhygienic, they do give a spray to clean it down so quickly got over it. It would be nice to have 2 pillows per bed, rather than one, but it did say reception can give more, unfortunately we missed the opening desk.

The dining room is lovely. The wee vases of flowers on the table were lovely. Sensible use of the space. Very close to channel tunnel.

I'd only be saying something for the sake of it. For the price I've no complaints. Someone could maybe rewrite the wee note on the desk at the entry with better English. There, found something to crisis😂

Simple, easy, basic, clean, no stress. Mostly self catered/handled - coffee machines in communcal areas, toilets/showers are shared hostel sort of way. But I think that keeps it fairly clean and it works. All in all great value for money. Staff is there just for emergencies really, so unless you really need them, they have high volumes of visitors, so if it's not necessary that they communicate with you, best to leave them to it. :)

For a very cheap hotel this F1 is clean, reasonably comfortable and in a very convenient location.

I paid a little more for a room with an en suite bathroom, mostly to get towels because I didn't have my own. I got towels alright, but they were thin and only the size of hand towels. It brought back bad memories of school changing rooms!

Room was small but perfectly formed, ideal for a night's rest before our long drive early the next morning. Room was clean and tidy. Parking was easy to find and use.

The shared toilets whilst clean were often quite wet, couldn't work out why that was but they were perfectly functional and fit for purpose.
