The rooms are HUGE!! We stayed in the apartment with our youngest son, as we were attending our eldest son's March Out at 1RTU. The kitchen was fantastic and we had all of our family come over to our apartment for a gathering and to see our son. The bathrooms were great and the laundry facility was so handy. I did have an online meeting, so was able to sit at the desk in my room and not miss that so Wi-Fi was fabulous.

Getting someone at reception can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. I know my Aunty and Uncle were staying in another room and were having issues with smell from their drain in the floor - so not sure what's going on there.

The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had plenty of storage space in main room, kitchenette and bathroom. We were given a complimentary breakfast pack for our first morning, and the extra washer for make-up removal was a great idea and much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a key code for entering the room and also for entering the main building after 8 pm. which gave a good sense of security. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and we had the choice of daily room service or not.

Couldn't fault any of it. It was a delight to stay there.

This is a super property with the most friendly and helpful staff you will find. Claire & Alissa were particularly eager to assist us and they patiently answer our questions. We slept very comfortably all 4 nights and found the room perfectly clean on arrival, and obvious pride in maintaining the premises. Some have commented on the slightly outdated decor, but to us it was charming. Who constantly updates their own home decor? The suites include a kitchenette with a basic breakfast bag of cereal and fruit to get you through your first morning. The cafe was supposed to be open Wednesday through Sat, but did not open on the Wednesday that we were. A complimentary on site laundry was also a plus.

Everything was fantastic, including the paved riverwalk behind the property.

Outstanding accomodation in Wagga, would highly recommend. Staff were helpful and friendly, the room was quiet, bed was very comfortable, cleanliness was A+, the atmosphere and gardens where charming, plenty of parking for guests and an easy walk to the grocery store or restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

Overall we are extremely happy with our stay. The restaurant was not open on the Saturday evening, but it was a lovely evening and short stroll to a wide choice of restaurants.

The style of decor was outstanding. It was very classy I thought. I loved the beautiful prints that were decorating the walls. The paintings were of still life flowers. There was a lift which was greatly appreciated. Beautiful carpet and the gardens were kept neat and lovely with gorgeous camelias lining part of the carpark. The room had plenty of space in it. The bed was comfortable and my husband loved the shower. It was not what I expected, but we were pleasantly surprised.

The bed cover was a bit hot, but that was probably because the weather suddenly warmed up. We should have opened the window as it would have cooled the room down. This was a very small complaint as we enjoyed everything else about the place.

Absolutely beautiful. Old-world feel with modern amenities. Well appointed kitchen with microwave, full sized fridge and storage. Huge room and bathroom. Soft bed, lots of pillows. Lovely carpet, clean and plush. The level of cleanness was unreal. There was not a speck of dust anywhere, even on the balcony - which I always give a pass too. My room overlooked the river and garden (which was in full bloom). The bird life there is fantastic. Little fairy wrens and honey eaters joined me whenever I was outside. Very peaceful, couldn't hear the road at all. Reception was rushed off their feet doing three things at once when I arrived and they still kept a professional and friendly approach. I've stayed in very high-end three times the price hotels, they don't hold a candle to Lawson.

Can't speak highly enough of this place! We were delighted with the old-world charm of this place, the room and the bathroom were both huge, and the decor was delightful and well done - such a welcome change from all the usual hotels/motels we have stayed in. I loved the location along the riverbank, with easy access to the walkway for a delightful stroll, and not too far out of town for drinks and dinner if you so choose. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable - sheets and towels were of great quality. The facilities in the room were way better than we had expected - including a lovely complimentary breakfast.

The water pressure was quite low, but no big deal.

What a treat Lawsons was. Seriously photos don't do it justice. Would definitely stay there again. Bathroom was spacious as was the room totally. Complimentary breakfast bag was unexpected and a treat. With juice, fruit cup, cereal and milk. The check-in staff were amazing and friendly. Had a lovely chat. Very informative of all the area. Complimentary coffee/hot chocolate in the morning was a great start to the day. The staff member serving coffee was very bubbly and sweet, sitting in such a grand room.

Only got one complimentary cereal. But that's OK. Wasn't expecting it.

Staff very welcoming and accommodating in holding bag after check out. Bed very comfortable. Location to the shops was great, with the river walk on your door step to enjoy fresh air. Lift was great as I was on second floor. I was able to use a sitting area due to flight being delayed. Was even offered a hot drink.

Only negative was the ‘breakfast bag’ - whilst most would welcome, personally it was loaded with things I have a reaction too. Henry’s Cafe within complex was closed Monday morning. Wasn’t too far to find a cafe that was open early enough for myself.

The room was large and well fitted out and the bed was comfortable. I particularly appreciated the kitchenette with the fridge and microwave which enabled me to heat my meals that I brought from home. The balcony overlooking the riverside provided a pleasant outlook I also liked the keypad entry on the door.

The furniture in the room and on the balcony was a bit tired (except the bed which was great). I think it would be good to have a lift for getting bags up and down if staying on the first floor. Not knowing where to go to find my room on arrival was the only other small issue.
