didn't get the breakfast but it had great choices at reasonable prices - the location was perfect - access to all of Highfields & close access to Toowoomba & surrounding small towns the other direction like Mering dance, Goombungee , Carbalah , Hampton & Crows Nest - the rooms were outstanding supplying everything you would need such as a spacious well stocked bathroom and kitchen & the living area also very spacious with a comfortable bed & lounge & dining table & TV & study desk - parking was great as right in front of room & covered - the grounds were great with gardens & a pool with seating area - it was a well priced motel with fantastic staff - would highly recommend this motel to all - the best I have stayed in

it was just a shame that the restaurant was temporarily not open

The room was clean and comfortable The staff were very very friendly, helpful, accommodating beautiful people who went far and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable would 100% recommend them to y’all. It’s the best welcoming experience ever that I have encountered for a week stay. I felt like I didn’t want to leave.

The only downside was the internet connection, however it is a problem in a lot of places where we stay.

Highfields Motel is located in an area handy to food, having a restaurant onsite and being opposite KFC also. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a large comfortable room, with a two seater lounge. The rainhead shower was a lovely surprise.

There was only one bread and butter plate, but that was going to bwe rectified quickly. The bed was a little soft, but still comfortable.

The location was great for the Toowoomba Festival of Flowers, with 4 of the 5 exhibition gardens being in the Highfields area, plus Spring Bluff Railway Station, and was only 10 mins to the centre of Toowoomba. The on-site restaurant was very good, the staff were very friendly, a good pub not far away and a KFC next door for a quick dinner when you were too tired to bother with a sit-down meal.

For a 4 night stay, the room could have been bigger, but as it was described as a Small Queen Suite, it was what we booked. Should have booked for 6 nights, as there is so much going on in Toowoomba during the Festival.

Every time I stay at Highfields motel I am happy with the cleanliness, the staff are great and very friendly, even the cleaners are lovely and have a professional but relaxed way about them. I have never eaten at the restaurant but that will be for next time. The location is really handy as there is a duel station, KFC on either side, only 4 minutes from the main Highfields shops and tavern and the scenery is also beautiful.

Our room was spacious. had table, chairs and lounge which was great to kick back and relax for breakfast before heading off for the day's activities. Heaps of bench space to utilise. Bed was very comfortable. didn't get time to use the pool though.

Bathroom quite cramped with only basin adjacent to the shower and toilet area. Difficult to fill up the kettle. Air conditioner didn't seem to be working well as got a bit hot during the night. Chairs (Suede coverings) were quite soiled, so could do with a good clean or replaced.

The reception staff (Cheryl ) was very helpful, kind and welcoming. She even called to check on us when we got late for check in. She guided me thru the whole check in process and even escorted us to our room 10. She was very kind and offered a camp bed for my 9 year old son. There were some lemon trees just next to my room.....i picked one for my evening cocktail even without informing management 🫣🫣 didn't have to go to Coles

Being too close (10meters) to KFC......Was an unhealthy weekend with fried chicken every dinner😭😭 The swimming pool is too tiny!! Lily's restaurant had a very limited range of menu items......to be specific... they don't do grilled beef steaks The TV cannot connect to the internet, very limited options especially with kids..... unless i just couldn't figure out how to use the TV remote. The Internet connectivity (WiFi) is very weak, I asked Cheryl and all she said is that may be other guests are also using it so there was nothing she would do about it🙄🙄

The property was convenient for the function that we attended but a little out of the city so not a lot to offer food wise as the restaurant at the property wasn’t open.

Not a huge issue but motel busy and a lot of coming and going of guests and as the cars were parked close to the doors, you could hear all the noise. Pool pump seemed to be outside the back window. Did turn off around 9.30 pm.

Location was great The room was a great size The window coverings were perfect for a good night's sleep and the room had all the necessary appliances

There were clothes tags left in side table draw and the kettle top was dusty leading me to question their cleaning practice also a personal preference I didn't like that the only basin in the room was for both bathroom and kitchen use I wouldn't clean my teeth at home in the kitchen sink

Highfields Motel was perfect for a family meeting place for an event we had close by. This is our second stay. The rooms are set out well to cater for different groups. Cheryl at reception was so helpful sorting out our family configurations for sleeping and checking in. The motel is located walking distance to a great coffee shop/restaurant, and brewery.
