This is a beautiful inn, that offers exceptional breakfasts and a genuinely friendly welcome. Our room was spacious, spotless and completely comfortable. After our three-night stay, we left with fond memories and recommend it 100%.

Zakopane is a beautiful but busy place, so it is best to leave your car parked at the inn and walk to everything. The train station is about 20 minutes away, the main street, funicular and zakopane style museum villa about 25 minutes walk. We also found it perfect to walk from the hotel up to the top of the funicular for the view, then take the funicular back down to the town. That takes about 90 minutes. You might want a taxi or bus to get to the cable car or mountain lake starting points because of parking availability, since these are further away.

Thanks for the delicious breakfast, with freshly cooked hot food, plenty of fruit/cheese/meat and tea and coffee refills. Meg and Bart's welcome was warm and friendly, with helpful information about walking routes and places to visit. We loved that we were in a quiet area of Zakopane, but in walking distance to the centre. Parking was easy. Our terrace was large and had a nice view of the mountains. It was a very pleasant place to relax after a long walk. The rooms were supplied with plates, cutlery and cups which was helpful. Thank you to Meg, Bart and their team for a lovely stay!

We didn't see the sauna, but we didn't want to use it. I'm sure it would have been available had we asked.

The Magnat Inn, their ownership and their staff are at the very top of the hospitality game. The Inn is beautifully situated, the rooms are clean and modern while maintaining a rustic mountain ambiance. Our room had a large balcony which provided the ideal location for a glass of wine after a day of exploring the region. The owners constantly and consistently went above and beyond expectations to ensure our time with them was special. The crowning aspect to this hospitality experience was the exceptional breakfast prepared by chef and owner Bart. My wife and I have traveled the world over the past 15 years but could not remember any Breakfast as good as the two we had while staying at the Magnat Inn. So good and plentiful that we made lunch with the leftovers both days and had the pleasure of experiencing both meals a second time. Meg, the other half of the ownership team couple, was warm, friendly and in spite of recovering from recent foot surgery, always present and looking to help, saying goodbye with a warm hug. Highly recommended.

Came to Zakopane with my parents for the first time. Everything was perfect, from the location, friendly hosts, cleanliness and the views from the room were amazing. We were also given some tips on what to do and a map, and that was really appreciated also. Can’t wait to be back .

The staff were nice and friendly, I like the building and our bedroom was bigger than expected. We also were allowed for early check in without any additional costs. Parking space included in the price, which is good. Good location, a bit far from centrum (30min walking), but anyway a good location, because the walk to the centrum was ok.

The curtains in the room weren't dark enough so it was very bright early in the morning, the shower could have had a bit more pressure. The sockets were a bit loose and the fridge was turned off when we arrived so it took a while for our drinks to get cold, I think this is ok in winter, but in summer it should be turned on.

First, for those who visit Magnat Inn first time: Location: Short walk and you are on the main shopping street, same distance to train/bus station (you can leave your car near Magnat Inn and go hiking or enjoy Zakopane), but if you want to have a rest - in the evening there is absolutely quite around the hotel. And now about the main - the owners Meg & Bart made our staying unforgotable, they have suggested us the most attactive and best routes for hiking in Tatri mountains, depending on weather and our condision 😃 They are simply the BEST!!!

Lovely place to stay very peaceful just out of main strip very welcoming meg and helpful in anything we needed 20min walk into main centre but 10mins walk to shops close by for essentials and restaurant and bus centre 15mins walk. If skiing like us it did work as we got lifted by the ski company or use taxis as any of the slopes at least 10min drive away and would have to carry equiptment which isn't ideal as bulky and heavy.

Nothing it was all good. However if going on an exclusive skii trip maybe best to locate self more to slopes unless have transport.

The inn is 15min walk from the central bus station, which is very good for a traditional small town relied on bus transportation. The furnitures are all wood-made and they are in good condition and comfortable. The good thing is that they have desk lamp which can benefit who like reading at night or playing handy before sleep. Also a mirror which light, good for lady to do makeup. The inn is a beautiful villa, views are definitely great. At night it is definitely quiet. The room is definitely clean and it will be cleaned every day. Magnat is so kind and nice, she recommended some routes to get to downtown and to morskie oko. And won’t bother you normally. The check in and check out are all smooth. I will certainly recommend you to stay in Margnat‘s inn and I will also choose her place again myself when I come to Zakopane next time.

Meg is a lovely host, she had always some kind word when we met. She was helping to find the best sights in the city. Rooms look exactly the same as on the pictures. It was always good to return at the end of the day after our whole day trips. Room was equipped with a kettle that saved our life when we arrived completely frozen. Breakfast was every day different and it was always delicious and copious.

ALL. First of all - Meg is a super host. I will feel like a home. It is much more than just friendly. The breakfast is excellent. Every day something different. Location is very quite which was excellent for us. It is not in the Zakopane center, so I recommend to use a car if you want to go to the center - it is short four minutes drive. Big room with balcony and very comfortable bed. Highly recommended. If we will return to Zakopane - we for sure will stay here.
