Good location, especially for the airport train from Namba. Our room had a great view from the 12th floor. We could walk to Dotonbori in around 12 minutes to enjoy food and drinks in the evenings. One of the closest subway stations, Kintetsu Nippombashi, is perfect to get the train direct to Nara for a day trip.

Allergen/dietary labels on the breakfast foods would be great. I was very grateful for some food every morning but I think there were things I might have been able to eat if they had had allergen/dietary labels on them but I didn’t try them because I wasn’t sure, so I mainly just ate rice to be sure.

The location is great, walking distance to three train stations (Nipponbashi, Namba and Ebisucho). 1 km walk to Dotonbori and 10 minute walk to Namba commercial area. Numerous restaurants and convenience stores withinn a short walk. Hotel staff was very courteous. Breakfast was very good . Cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. Room size was decent (booked a single room), the bed can sleep 2 people comfortably. Bathroom was functional, hot water and water pressure wasn't lacking.

Check in time was really late at 4 pm and check out was 10 AM. Zero flexibility on letting you check in early (unless you are a member of their loyalty program, you get to check in one hour early) One pillow was provided in my room (didnt try to ask for an extra)

The buffet breakfast is the best part. They served big portions, complete from salad, 2-3 viands, 2 kinds of rice, 4 kinds of soup, drinks of juices and coffee / tea. Mains daily were different which is best for us since we stayed for 4 nights.

The room is not that big so, if you have big luggage…we put them under the bed. We opted for 3rd day cleaning only. Daily they give fresh towels, too.

Love everything about this place, I've been in Tokyo once and chose Toyoko Inn as my hotel as well. The location is perfect! surrounded by everything; 7/11 , Lawson , the mall , Market , Train station. I barely used the train because i can walk to many places from the hotel. SUPER recommended !

Breakfast almost the same everyday but still appreciated.

Accesible, clean and good price.

Some female staff don’t know how to smile and not that accomodating to us, we were group, we felt like we are being discriminated coz we are from Phils.? Hope were wrong… coz japanese people in our homw country are being treated with respect. Esp on our workplace, we treat them as family here… Some female staff are rude in the front desk. Male staff are much much better and very kind and eespectful to us in that 1 week stay of ours.

Toyoko Inn Namba is in a great place. It’s well within walking distance to Dotonbori, Tennoji, Yasaka Jinja, and Tsutenkaku, along with Namba Station itself and two other subway stations. It’s also in a very prominent anime area. In terms of the hotel itself, the staff were very nice and helpful with my luggage, coin laundry, and door card replacements.

The only things I didn’t like were that the bed was very firm, but that’s quite typical of beds in Japan. Also, my travel adaptor couldn’t seem to stay in any of the plug sockets.

Location is perfect. Only a short walk from Nippombashi station. Also next to all the shops and cafes of Denden Town. The room is a good size for one person with luggage and it has a good size bath.

The lack of USB outlets in the toom is the only issue with this hotel. If you don't have a converter for your USB plug you will need to buy a Japanese USB adapter plug.

We are surprised that the free breakfast provided is really good. Everyday, the breakfast is a little bit different and 3 kinds of soup are provided. The room is clean, the king bed size room have enough space for us to open our big luggage. Also, besides drinking vending machines, there's water dispenser for free. (We spent 5 nights there in total)

No USB plug for battery charging. Another downside is the pillow which is too flat, not quite comfortable.

The staff, and the breakfast was very very good! Also, they let me borrow an umbrella.

I don't understand how the warm water works. I have tried all the levers. Sometimes the water is warm, sometimes hot, sometimes cold. The written explanations could be better than they are now.
