Ron met us as we drove into the driveway of the 'lodge', which was his home and had a separate free standing cottage. The garden areas were very beautiful with a great variety of flowers and trees. We had booked the cottage but we were upgraded to the large wing of the house at no extra charge. Breakfast was really fine because our refrigerator was stocked with eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes. We made our breakfast in a roomy kitchen with everything one might need. The living area and bedroom were very spacious. TV was great. And the bathtub and shower were way above average. Ron cooked a lovely dinner for us on the day of our arrival. He and his wife were very gracious hosts and were very informative about the area.

Internet in our wing of the house was difficult. If we were closer to the main house area, internet was available but not very strong. I sat outside at a patio table to get strong enough internet to do basic things. You could also go just outside the bedroom door or in the bathroom, both being close to the wall of the adjoining main house.

Gavin welcomed us on arrival he couldn’t have been anymore helpful. Gavin provided us a meal for our party of four which was lovely. The accommodation provided everything we needed, clean, comfortable and such a lovely area and very quiet. Branson their gorgeous dog gave us a fabulous welcoming also. Gavin was welcoming and helpful in all he did, Cooked us a tasty dinner as we arrived late in the day and had travelled all day. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast supplies he provided included bacon & eggs +++. Beautiful part of the Coffs Harbour region. Thank you.

Every detail, every space of the place smelled like flowers. The facilities were truly luxurious. Gavin, was a tremendous and gracious host. Friendly and responsive. One of the best facilities we have been to in our Booking experience. Beautiful place to visit.

Nothing was to much trouble and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly, the breakfast we had for dinner as we were leaving early in the morning and it was delicious. The place was so peaceful and quiet, made me feel cozy listening to the rain, and the bed was so comfy I wanted to take it home.

This beautifully manicured and super quiet setting on 2 1/4 acres was a delight with the host being a chef himself. Thank you Ron, for cooking gorgeous parrot fish with fresh garden salad which was to die for. The room had all gadgets we wanted, the king bed was very comfortable too. we will return for another stay in Bonville!

Lovely, friendly hosts with Bronson (the fur host), who were so welcoming and kind to all of us, which included two dogs. The moussaka, Greek salad, and baked ricotta cheesecake prepared by Gavin were delicious and a lovely surprise to save us going out.

The breakfast plate and additional items provided in the fridge were delicious! Ron was a lovely guy to meet and the grounds surrounding the lodge were beautiful. we stayed only one night as we were travelling north, our stay was a very comfortable one.

perhaps there is no wifi and for the price per night you may expect to have this available but nothing else negative to say!

Its a traditional B & B set in peaceful surroundings that is dog friendly and with great breakfast supplies . Loved that the eggs were from their own chickens . Ron was very welcoming . And it’s well placed for an overnight stop between Sydney & Brisbane.
