For my wife and I, this hotel is right across the street from Nalu, and that's where we spend all of our time. This was our 3rd or 4th time staying here, and we love the location. The free parking right outside of your hotel room is great in the parking garage. The staff is always friendly and does a good job of keeping the hotel clean and welcoming. It's a couple of steps to the beach, bars, and numerous restaurants. We always comment that we wish we had discovered Dewey Beach earlier in life.

The front desk ladies were very nice and we arrived a little early so they still let us park in the garage and use the pool then called us when the room was ready which was about 20 minutes later. It was easy parking in garage and in and out was easy to come and go whenever you needed to and the parking garage connected to the floors you stayed on so you did not have to wander all over to get back to the floor you were staying on. The beach was right down the road within a 5 minute walk or less. The pool on the roof was neat but a bit dirty. The beds were very comfortable. They also provide lots of towels and shampoos for the room. It was walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars and a few beach shops.

The door on the french door area of the room was hard to lock and door kept coming open. The restaurant next door had neon lights that kept shining in room.

The hotel's location being one block away from the beach was perfect and extremely convenient! The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. My friend and I stayed for one night and loved how close the hotel was to various restaurants.

One thing that could have made our experience better was to have a water fountain and ice machines in the hotel for refilling our water bottles and cooler before the beach, but it was not a make or break issue for us.

We love how close the hotel is to the beach. We loved that the whole family could be in one room with 3 queen size beds. Like that it was a parking garage so our vehicle could stay out of the whether. Love that the maid came in everyday to make the beds and give us clean towels.

Wish there was an easier way to get to the elevator from the parking garage not easy to carry everything up a flight of steps to get to the elevator. Wish there was a breakfast included.

The location of this hotel is excellent! The rooftop pool is also very nice. The rooms are clean, and the staff is very nice and accommodating! The price of the hotel was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.

Continental breakfast would be nice. The towels are very scratchy and do not absorb very well. The place could use some updating regarding decor.

The location and staff were outstanding. Everyone who worked there was so courteous and helpful. The pool was great too. And the coffee bar was a great amenity. Having a parking garage for guests was a big reason we chose this hotel too.

The rooms were clean except the carpet throughout the rooms and hallways is so old and dirty that it turns your socks and feet black if you don’t keep your shoes on. Strongly recommend they remove it and go with non- carpeted flooring.

The Gold Leaf's location is excellent. It's a short walk to the beach and many great restaurants of varying price ranges. It's also close to the bay, which offers beautiful sunsets and activities like kayaking, jet skiing, etc. The housekeeping staff came around each day. I didn't utilize their full services every day bc sometimes we were in the room during to rain. However, the staff always asked if we needed towels, etc. I thought the front desk staff was friendly. The pool on the roof is nice. The hotel's decor and hallway carpets are a little dated, but the place was clean. I'd return.

Carpets are a little old, but people track sand in and out. It's probably not worth it to replace all the carpeting.

We loved that our car was not in the heat/sun. We liked the location. Close to everything. We didn’t have to drive to anything or pay for parking. The front desk ladies and one gentleman working that were friendly and welcoming.

The smell in the hallways and rooms. It would be nice to have continental breakfast included. Or just some packaged muffins, granola bars, bananas, juice and coffee would have been sufficient.

Really nice room with really soft beds!

Bad weather allowed us only one day on the beach (not the hotels fault of course). The other thing is that there is no longer a free breakfast included. With the increase in pricing over the past few years, that still should come included.

Location was great. Pool was nice but cold. Housekeeping very friendly and accommodating.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Freezer in frig was frozen and couldn’t freeze our freezer packs for the ride home. Hotel needs an update. Front staff not welcoming. No toaster. No sink so had to wash dishes in bathroom.
